Anyone else with Venus in 8th feel like every relationship you have is some epic, fated event that true to the stereotypes might destroy you in some way but of course also leave you "transformed"? It's really dramatic but I still remember another 8th house venus saying "the only thing I can think of similar to love is being burned alive".

But he was a Cancer Venus with Chiron and SN in 8th too so that's a little ridiculous lol. Having Aqua venus helps in a way, but honestly who wants to mix intellect with the 8th house... things just get weird lol. Anyway maybe it's just the transits I have lately or something, but just curious to hear from other 8th house Venus ppl, what do you think of it and how do your relationships tend to play out? Also how bout that stereotype of getting rich through others? Hasn't come true for me (although maybe that's the Aqua, I'll make my own money lol...)

My s.o has venus in the 8th (along with mars n moon) and he views our relationship in a similar way to what you described. He gets very "dramatic" n "intense" about it.

He doesn't get rich through others lol. He's quite lucky in financial matters though, handles his money well.

The part about getting inheritance n stuff through partners/spouses is true for him.

I have Venus in libra in 8th house so I mix the intellect with the 8th house. In fact, I have five Libra planets in the 8th house. I am a Libra sun with scorpio NN. Constant mix of water and air.

As far as Venus in 8th, I am definitely passionate when it comes to relationships and probably handle them with the intensity of a scorpio. If a relationship ends and I am not the one to end it, I feel so much pain, luckily the Libra end can rationalize that it wasn't a good relationship and I get over it eventually. I see other people get over being broken up with by someone they dated for a few months and they get over it quickly. With me, no matter how long I dated the person, if I really liked him but he ends it, it is very painful yet I won't show that I am hurt (8th house).
