Hello Everyone,
I've just realized that with several of my friends, we share some harsh aspects in synastry, however, things are genrally pretty good between us. My question is: How? These are aspects that you would generally worry about, but is it true that positive aspects can really water down the harsher ones? I'm talking about aspects like:
*Mars Square Saturn
*Moon Square Uranus or Neptune
*Venus Semi-Sextile Saturn
*Venus Square Saturn, etc. etc.Has anyone ever experienced aspects that smoothed over the harsher ones? Share please. I'd love to hear.

Yeah, with some people I am able to do that. My best friend and I have a Sun-Saturn square both ways but we don't bring each other down at all. ------------------

Some aspects are more obvious and significant than others, eg aspects between personal planets, aspects between AC/DC rulers, aspects between Nodal rulers, aspects that are extremely close etc.The main reasons the negative aspects wouldn't be felt - would be that - they are overshadowed by positive aspects, they are not very close in orb, one or both people already have the negative aspect in their natal chart so they are used to the energy, one or both people have 'diplomatic' natal charts - eg if they have placements in Libra or Pisces or nice Venus/Mercury aspects, or maybe Moon/Mercury.. so they have the social skills necessary to deal with a variety of people (even difficult people), one or both people feel they must cooperate - eg if they are in business together or if they can benefit each other in some way .. so they might make the extra effort if they feel the relationship is important... hmmm that's all I can think of atm Oh!! Actually one more thing - Men are generally more overtly aggressive than women and more prone to violence. Hard Mars aspects (like Mars/Saturn & others you mentioned) between two female friends will simply not be as obvious and intensely negative as they would be between two men or a man and a woman.
