Since the whole composite chart already describes the relationship itself, then it wouldn't make sense to single out one house and say that it is the relationship house of the composite. Its true in individual charts, but in the composite the 7th house would describe the *couples "soul mates" or "friends" who they are destined to be in relationships with. The lessons they need to learn as a couple and the nature of relationships they will have with other people is shown through the 7th house. For example, if Saturn straddles the 7th house cusp then these people need to seek mates who are serious, reliable, mature and wise. These are the qualities the composite chart couple lacks and has to learn from other people in order to maintain a strong bond. So basically, the 7th house is always the OTHER people in a relationship who are destined to be met.IP: Logged |

Yes! Your soul mates as a couple are lunar people. They should be sensitive, warm, nurturing and maybe even family oriented. There will be something in those lunar people that should help you accentuate those moon qualities in your partnership. IP: Logged |

Where are you getting your info? The seventh house is where the partners learn to share and work together. As a result it's going to be emphasized in intimate personal relationships and professional partnerships, where both partners have to relate to each other as equals. IP: Logged |

What you said is very true! But the composite 7th house isn't just about the couples personal relationship, it refers to the relationships you have as a couple with other people. This is another important piece of the puzzle. Just like your natal 7th house describes your soul mates, the composite 7th house describes the couples soul mates. I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all, but this is based on all the material I read and listened to by Steven Forrest. I highly recommend anyone to read his book Skymates 2: The Composite Chart! That is very true - and btw good book, very recommended - but I have seen teh 7th house in composite actually being about BOTH.
On the one hand about the relationships you have -as a couple- with the external world, but it alos reflects you as a couple itself. It is puzzling. But maybe the reason for this is that actually composites are made of midpoints, and there is always a near and a far midpoint. We are picking the near midpoint by default for casting a composite, but ther eis STILL the other midpoint, maybe a little less strong, but it is still there. This *could* mean that instead of single houses or placements we are actually dealing with an axis. So it might just be a gradual difference if you deal with the 1st or the 7th house, maybe in some occasions they can even get flipped (because of the midpoint-axis), and the important thing is you are dealing with the relationship-axis. However I am not completely sold on this though. maybe it depends how neart he near midpoint is to each planet. IP: Logged |

It's possible that they couple would want other couples to share the same qualities. But I don't think that the 7th is necessarily what the couple lacks. My ex and I has Saturn in the 7th and what we didn't lack as a couple was what you wrote above. IP: Logged |
