I'd say so, Capricorn being an ambitious sun sign combined with the good fortune and benevolence Jupiter brings. Good for material success at least.

Jupiter is a happy,lucky,positive planet.It magnifies what it touches into something more----jovial.The person is optimistic,enthusiastic,light-hearted.Has a lot of faith that everything will work out fine.Is super exhuberant and optimistic,can be so full of themselves that it can get annoying.
Mick Jagger is someone who has this.
With a Capricorn sun Jupiter can make things lighter,less serious.The person is not so somber---
Sun conjunct Jupiter in Capricorn would make for a more jovial,high-spirited Cap,if that seems possible---
