Most astrologers claim trines come naturally and sextiles require you to activate them.

Do you feel that way?
Do they seem less consistent than Trines?

The only sextile I have is Mars sextile Saturn.
I can be pretty lazy but I'll roll out of bed and get **** done promptly when a deadline is coming up.

Oh and Venus sextile Chiron but that seems like background energy.

No. I can't get with this claim. Mercury Sextile Saturn!! My word is my mother******* bond!!!
I find that my sextile qualities are things tat get me into trouble. Sometimes the best thing is to lie and I just can't. I have quite a few Sextiles. Trine don't get me into trouble. Sextiles?! Ugh. Always step on toes with those.

Yeah, I don't think I really feel my sextiles consistently. I have a good amount of them too I guess.

Sun sextile Pluto
Moon sextile Venus
Venus sextile Jupiter
Moon sextile Chiron
Uranus sextile MC
Neptune sextile MC
Venus sextile Vertex
Chiron sextile Vertex
Chiron sextile Pluto

(and then my outer planets -Saturn/Neptune/Uranus/Pluto form some sextiles)

I really don't pay them much attention though when analyzing my chart lol

Trines ... you know intuitively what to do, you don't have to know why or how it works.

Sextiles.. things only work out if you integrate the energies using an experimental, playful approach. Ingenuity is key - gathering information/experiences and then using this.

Sextiles encourage you to use your brain.

I've got a talent triangle which consists of Leo Moon & Jupiter sextile Gemini Mars and sextile Libra Venus & Mercury (which trine that Mars!)

So i feel it quite good! They are really in tune with me and i feel that Mars is helping me deal with all problems that come with Venus-Saturn square and Moon - Pluto square. When i act, i usually do it good and all problems just go away. So Mars equally well helps me with a trine to Venus and a sextile to Moon. Although i do feel that i have to give more effort to make that Moon-Mars sextile work!

I have neptune sextile venus exact, but didn't notice anything until progressed chart shows a neptune semisq. venus, then disillusionment crept in.

Why do I always snigger when I read sentences like this? Like the time someone wrote their boyfriend had a huge stellium. That cracked me up too

I can feel my sextile energies pretty strongly, for the most part. But that may be because they involve personal planets, exalted and domicile planets, and conjunctions.

I feel my Moon sextile Uranus/IC the least, as neither is any of the above.

Neptune sextile Pluto and Mercury/POF is pretty easy for me to express, but Neptune is a personal planet. The same for Mars in Cap sextile Jupiter in Pisces.

Those are the only sextiles in my chart.

Keep in mind that sextiles are a 6th harmonic aspect which is pretty far away so it shouldnt be something thats integrated in to your core its more like an opportunity to use that energy when you need or want it and it still takes conscious effort to bring it forth

Thinking back to the POF thread, mine conjunct Mercury was noted that communication and writing would be a productive outlet for me (which it has been, since I was about six years old), so the sextile to a personal and creative planet like Neptune isn't difficult for me to feel inherently.

Likewise for the well placed Mars and Jupiter in my chart.
