My charts career path says I should be a great speaker/communicator who should be able to draw from extensive memory..

Only problem is, when Im put on the spot its like my mind goes blank and I stammer (yet later, I come up with the greatest way I could have said it).
Ugh! How frustrating it is!

What could would be afflicting this?
Maybe its not time yet?

Chiron in 3rd/Gemini (either speaks too much or too little)
Uranus-Mercury hard aspect (your mind races faster than you can speak)
Mercury retro (prefer writing to speaking)

Chrion @ 0 degree Gemini 10th house
Gemini = Mercury located in my 5th house of Capricorn along with Sun.

Would Saturn sitting in opposition of chrion make me learn how to speak "the hard way"?

Saturn opposite chiron is kinda generational.

Personally I just think you need practices. People get stage fright all the time.

The second house rules speech. Is the ruler of your second under any affliction? What is your birth data?

I have Mercury in 11H, Uranus in 3H. Mercury is square Pluto in 2H. Uranus and Mercury are in water signs. I have problems talking. When I don't talk it's because I can't get the words out OR when I do want to talk my mind can't slow down so it becomes very fragmented. It's a PITA

@charlie
pluto-mercury is more about brutal honesty, sometimes having a tendency of discovering/exposing secrets intentionally/unintentionally.

@fairaqua
There is something about planets at 0 and 29 degree that somehow makes them emphasised. Someone perhaps could explain this better than I do, but 0 degree is at a beginning/ raw phase, while 29 degree is where you get stuck.

Your mercury and chiron fall on these degrees.

This chart system isn't exactly the one I use, but I think it's almost the same so I'll try. The ruler of your 2nd is in the 6th which is generally not a good placement but it probably has more to do with your Mercury being in the 29th degree.

Be careful in acquiring debt in your life.

I don't use sidereal.

Maybe Moon/Pluto sq Sun inhibits self-expression or makes you less confident about it.

Not quite. At 0 degree, chiron is still at na early stage, feeling things out. Its placement in gemini shows wounding in communication. Sometimes you speak too much when you shouldn't or speak too little when you should have spoken up. Or you can have issues with expressing yourself, forming words from your thoughts. Though you may be pretty good at listening.

Planets at 29 degree will be where you will get stuck in repetitive cycle till you get it right. Perhaps you should look more into mercury in caps...

On a positive note, chiron in ease with mercury reveals that your words can heal or be an inspiration to others.

Gemini Chiron on MC, it's showing your greatest wound is coming forth as a fear of publicly being seen, gemini deals with communication, this opposed your Saturn/Uranus and is T-squared your NN grand cross with AC/DC

The answer is to work diligently on your Chiron, but the outlet would be seen in your NN path....find out what asteroids fall on your NN and what a pisces NN on the DC is telling you that you need to focus on in order to follow your souls path forward.
You will need to be careful since your SN is also your AC, your tendency will be to make an appearance of being all focused on the past....find someone who has personal planets that embody your DC and NN and try to avoid ppl who hit your AC, try to learn as much as possible from them, maybe try to use them as a guide.
Everything at 0 degrees shows this is new, it's a new beginning for you, so be patient with yourself and accept that you won't have the answers so ask for help and don't be overly critical or expect perfection of yourself...that would be everything you used to be...not who you are becoming!

I really believe much of your Chiron wound displaying itself this way is coming from you, self inflicted criticism....leading to fear of not being accepted, respected, looking dignified and "perfect".
I believe if you took the chance and kept forcing yourself to get up and be in front of everyone and maybe even let yourself fail a couple times then forced yourself to smile and look at your positives instead of hating or being ashamed of yourself for it, you would learn a lot about why your hurting.
Mainly you would learn that your the only one that expects perfection of yourself, other ppl probably think you were great, so maybe try ignore your own perceptions of how you did and listen to others feedback about you instead.

If you saw someone get up in front of a group and do what you did....would you pick them apart until they had nothing but a shred of self esteem left or would you pat them on the back and say, "you were great" no matter how they did?
You need to start treating yourself the same way you would treat others....respect and care for others doesn't include picking them apart in your new life path....overlooking their flaws and seeing them as their soul not their imperfect bodies is where your headed...start by doing this for yourself!
I think if you could say to yourself, no matter how I do when I'm in front of others, even groups, I did a good job just because I was me....it doesn't matter what I say or don't say, it's my heart and my intentions that matter and they are always good and I can always be proud of myself because of that and that's all that matters.

That makes a lot of sense
I do put a lot of stress on being perfect

Its like I cant even make small talk because "what do I say? what do I ask about? was that rude? is that weird? omg, 4 seconds of uncomfortable silence... what do I say? what do I say? what do I say?"

Or if I am making a big speech and I stumble on a word, Im going to have to punish myself internally by reliving such an embarrassing moment for the rest of my life..

But I have found people generally do accept what I say with much respect, even if I dont think they were listening.

I had to unexpectedly speak at my mothers funeral after my sister got up there and choked on tears. I didnt want my moms "mother side" of her life to go unspoken, it was something she prided herself on.
...so I got up there and pulled words from I dont even know where...
In a few minutes I got people to laugh and cry (granted, it was a funeral so there was much crying anyways)
Ugh, people will still compliment me on my speech 6 years later but I still pick it apart thinking things like, maybe I shouldnt have said that or I should have said it like this, when I should be saying, "You did pretty great for an off the cuff speech at such a emotional event!"

When the words come from some place without your thought and planning that is Neptune/pisces at work!
That is where you will shine, if you try to stop planning words that you will want to perfect because it's so planned....and just let your mind relax and feel your words coming from your heart your speeches will be beyond criticism.
You won't be able to critique yourself because it was not something so planned and perfected that you can say it was right or wrong, it was your heart speaking not your mind, or virgo/mercury...the place you want to be moving away from.

Your heart is your attachment to your higher self, so your words are coming from a much more inspired place than just your mind can give. Once you feel these words and see yourself letting go and then see ppls reactions, you will feel much more secure in your ability to speak publicly. It's all about letting go and flowing with the universe instead if trying to plan and control everything.
