These Oppositions confuse me.

Supposedly the Venus person is very attracted to the planet person, but difficulties arise. I just can't put my finger on what those difficulties are. If Venus is attraction then is it that at first Venus is attracted to the other planet person, but then later finds them unnattractive?

My coworker has her Sun Venus and Mercury all opposite her new boyfriend's Venus and I don't know what to make of it.
