Maybe Libra is the true flirt since it's ruled by Venus.
Gemini is more focused on being everyones friend, I think.

Which could be mistaken as flirting.
Mainly by girls who think any male attention always has a hidden agenda LOL.
It's happened to me before.. So I end up friend zoning them by calling bud LOL.... LMFAOO

but overall I'm more described as chill or cool vs flirty.
I only flirt with people I'm really attracted to.

One's a charmer while the other is superficial and a suck up. One is genuine and approachable while the other is approachable yet extremely inconsistent. So I could see where one could call superficiality flirting. Libra is the charmer, we charm and it's considered flirting. Gemini is the talker, who's considered a flirt...

Libra and Gemini are both superficial and only skim the surface, they most likely flirt only because they like what they see at first sight. Where some other signs like to hang back and see if the person has more substance on the inside.

Mercury and Venus are both quick processors, Venus works more quicker in Libra than it does in Taurus, that is why Taurus likes to take its time on decision making. The same with Virgo, Mercury works much deeper than it does in Gemini. Libra and Gemini can be both flighty and fickle, both cut from the same cloth just ruled by different planets.

I've only known one Libra male.
The Libra females I've known... Every one of them. It was like all the men desired them. Just by looking at them. (Venusian energy play?)
Then, Libra being friendly, charming and balanced of course gets taken the wrong way and as invitation - which it's not. Simply because of the energy they give off whether they intend to or not

Gemini.... Their energy is just different and more mercurial... Just chatty... Jibber Jaber. They seem much more child like with playful hitting and physical contact.

I've had relationships with both.

My experience of Libra (men, at least), is that they can indeed be charming, but there's not necessarily any substance in what they say and they can switch affections to another pretty quickly without much remorse. They flirt but in a more subtle and, in my opinion, dangerous way. I've had a few prepared to cheat on their SO's with me. Not good.

Gemini men also flirt and indeed the ones I've met do like mental/conversational stimulation and consequently a variety of friends. I had a 3 year relationship with one who was cuspish Taurus. There was certainly no lack of communication on our parts (me being a Virgo) although there was some tension and resistance between us which occasionally boiled up to resentment or nagging. They do have a good lively sense of humour though, I'll give them that.

I agree..I never flirt if I am not interested but many can misunderstand my outgoing friendly way as flirt though.

I'm a Libra with no Gemini in my chart and people think I flirt all the time when I'm not.

Which is why I get so annoyed at all the articles of "does s/he want to date you" and the answer is "yes" if they so much as show basic courtesy (looking you in the eyes when talking for example). No, that's wrong. For those that it's right about it's only if they're either obsessed with sex 24/7 or they won't acknowledge someone's existence unless they have a very selfish motive (money, sex, favors, etc), and not everyone is that shallow.

I suppose the Libras who love to flirt just flirt with about everyone because they want to be liked by everyone, but in that case I expect the vast majority of it is insincere, or at least intended more as flattery and fun interaction (like a game) than invitation.

Geminis seek mind stimulation when "flirting". Their style has substance, and is very intellectual. I enjoy their witty comments.
But libra, they seek self validation, and recognition. It's Venus vanity. You can't deny. Sometimes out of desperation, or they want you to flirt back. It lacks substance and originality. They're usually those mainstream pickup lines or compliments.

I think the ones who excel, and really EXCEL in flirting, are those Pisces ******** ... I mean I'm smart and all, but when a Pisces is flirting with me, my mind shuts down. 😤😤😠😡
