I read somewhere this axis that is going to be extremely important in our life. I'll try and find the article.. But do you notice how important your axis is..My nodes are in the 2nd and 8th house axis. Yeah I can see how accumulating wealth and security is very important to me. I basically read the 2nd house is our own finances since it's second to the 1st house of course. and 8th is not only inheritances but the finances is your spouse or partner since it's second to 7th. Basically what they bring to the relationship. I kinda wish I had NN in the second though so perhaps I would be born into wealth... >.<

I just read a great article on Nodes, you might be interested. My Venus/Chiron squares my nodes and interestingly Chiron is always active in big changes in my life. http://www.astro.com/mtp/mtpt52_e.htm quote: The personal nature of the nodal axisAlthough the signs describe our collective, inherited nodal axis imbalance, it is the houses in which the Nodes are found, and the planetary rulers of the Nodes, which describe our personal relationship to this axis and our personal experience of the liminal realms. This will, of course, be different for each of us. In addition to the collective dimension of the otherworlds, there is also a long tradition that each one of us is attached at birth to an individual daemon which is uniquely interested in our personal destiny. In our own charts, we could even imagine that the nodal axis is our individual threshold between this and other worlds, presided over by our own personal guides, mentors, teachers, ancestors, messengers, guardian angels, and daemons.

12th and 6th house nodal axis and they are in Virgo and Pisces, too. So yeah... Must've been Virgo/Pisces forever and ever and ever. IP: Logged |

My nn is in the 2nd and I was not born into wealth. However, I am very likely to receive a substantial inheritance in the next few months. A small chance that I could be off about the substantial part but I doubt it. I also have Jupiter in the 8th. The only thing that continues to confuse me is that being a Libra rising my signs are flip flopped. IP: Logged |

I have heard it said that this causes a push-pull effect, not unlike the Pisces fish; tied together, but always feeling pulled in two different directions.IP: Logged |

As a Cancer Asc most of my signs are square and that sounds true for me with the pulled in different directions part. It's rough lol SN in 1st and I have the ability to be independent, I've broken away from everything to make a fresh start for myself and can/will do it again, but I also have Chiron in 1st and a lot going on in 7th so it seems like every time I try to do that it's undermined in some way and I'm forced to sacrifice for others... So obviously I'm supposed to find a balance but so far that hasn't worked out very well lol
