Leo suns like to be able to just be themselves without caring what anyone else thinks and they love to feel that wonderful, fun Leo energy coursing through their body. Something that I found that works really well for me to get into my Leo flow is visualizing the symbol of Leo over a fiery backdrop with a Lions head next to it. Imagine that core energy flowing into you and just embodying it. Whenever I do this I immediately feel more like myself and am happier, more free, and have more fun. I'm sure this could work for any sun sign but I know since Leo is all about self-expression and being oneself, this is particularly useful for them. *EDIT* you don't need the lion's head but the symbol with fire is a must. The lion's head helps though x)Also I'm extending it to anyone with major Leo energy ------------------

WOW!
I have an eerily similar visualization of my Leo Ascendant! Except, it's just the symbol with the fire burning like an essence across the sign. No lion head, though. It's for the same reason as you, too, haha.If I were to think about my Sun sign; Virgo, then I would imagine two wheat shafts crossing each other on the symbol. I would then feel a sense of analytical discrimination towards details. Actually, that would be a kinda cool topic. What do people visualize when they think about their symbol (glyph) or sign? Or if they only think about the symbol itself and nothing artsy, if they were to add something artsy at least, what would it be? Come to think of it, if I'm not mistaken, I think that topic was created a few months ago, I don't remember for sure, though. IP: Logged |

i love leos.
i just realized something about friendship. leos really are true friends, at least most of them. tehy will stick by your side, without questioning your own loyalty to them. they have great trust and are very giving.

This is lovely. May sound silly, but I have always gravitated toward anything by Anne Klein for that reason.

Like no one can touch me with a little bit of a take it or leave it attitude but this is who I am. It's not really artful I know.

Seriously though, when you visualize things, you're basically allowing them to be real, and when you visualize the Leo symbol with fire and that fun energy, it becomes real once again within you and you get back into your flow :P But like some of you have pointed out, just visualizing YOURSELF as the lion also can work. I've done this before and immediately felt more confident and proud lol. Also reminding yourself that no one is above you but that you aren't better than anyone keeps you in that nice evolved Leo state as well. ------------------

Another thing I also do is whenever the sun is out, I go out and visualize the Sun's rays energizing me. I've noticed that I feel more energetic when the sun is out. ------------------

One of my best male friends (a pro drummer) is a Leo, I've known him since I was about 16. It could never work romantically, I just never fancied him physically, but he really GREW into his Leo-ness (if that's a word!) as he matured. It was quite the shocking transformation actually.I think maybe my Leo venus/Mars and MC aspected his sun. He is the kind of person you can always depend on. My father was Leo too, and although he was more chill, you always felt he'd have your back no matter what. IP: Logged |

Wow, I can't believe my eyes! There is a Leo thread without some people sh*tting all over it seconds after it was made... Must be the time difference ---- Leo Sun (12 House), Virgo Venus (12th House) conj Asc here When I have a moment of "imagining" our symbolic animal, I go for a black cat instead. I guess, I walk like one anyway, very "floaty", observing my surroundings with my cat-like flirty eyes, but always very independent... Mmm I feel like going for a walk now, haha

I've always admired Leos and their innate confidence. I think I'll try a sag variation of this :-)

I also visualize myself putting my right fist on my heart with my head held high at the same time as the other Leo visualization - which is supposed to symbolize me staying true to myself with pride. IP: Logged |

I don't know maybe I'm way different..
I don't visualize Leo symbols, so I can't really comment on types of effects. For me, when I'm going through some sort of hard time, it lights a fire under my azz and my fire goes into over drive.. I think I thrive on it, cuz I'm using my fire energy.
I need something very specific and challenging to focus and pull out my energy...
When I'm not going through some sort of problem, I just sit back and ride the wave.. I get lazy.. Lol... And maybe a wee bit moody...

I absolutely LOVE leos. They are just too much fun and super adorable and cute and protective and authoritative in just the right way. ADORBS. Obviously not all leos are so awesome, but I just happened to have dated so many of them and realized I have a real appreciation for them.I have my south node in leo in the 7th house, as well as my 8th house cusp. A lot of the leos I ended up dating had their sun fall in my 7th house so it makes sense. I find my leo SN also makes it very easy to express leonian energy. IP: Logged |
