If you have natal Saturn aspecting your sun and/or venus, I'd like to know about your internal conversation, actions and results. I'm primarily curious about natal squares, but if you have other natal aspects, please comment away :-)

Some of my questions are

1) How does your insecurity play out in romantic contexts?

2) if someone likes you back with equally strong interest, do you run away or lapse into a cycle of push/pull? One example, "why does he/she want me? I'm not good enough. Maybe something is wrong with him/her. Do I still want this person?"

3) anything else that you do because of these aspects that the other side should know :-)

4) do you test the other person? How? For what and which fear is it tied to?

5) Edited. what brings you out of your internal cycle? For me (Sun Saturn conjunct), if the pain of losing someone or a dream exceeds pain of failure, I ignore my fears and jump without a safety net.

6) How does the other person gain your respect? I'm not talking about pedestal standing. Actual respect.

I think the square with Jupiter has dampened my spirits in having a good time which is at odds with Jupiter trining my sun. It's like I want to feel great about life and enjoy it, but there's a nagging voice at the back saying I shouldn't or haven't deserved it somehow, like an inhibiting thing.

With the opposition to Mercury (in Virgo) it similarly restrains my communication (which actually is very innate and important to me).

1. Doesn't really affect me romantically. I'm not insecure in relationships really, and I know my self-worth in that regard and what I will accept and not accept.

3. I'm really self critical and it's a battle within myself really. Even though family, friends, and even strangers may compliment me and congratulate me on any achievements/success, I always feel like I can do better and be better. I think that although this aspect creates self awareness, it creates it to a degree where you're so self aware that you judge yourself under a microscope and pick at every big small and teensy little fault about yourself.

4. No, ok maybe yes? Testing in the sense that I try to see if they have my best interest in mind (i.e. is it just for sex or a relationship?) and I also check to see if they are responsible, hard working, etc. But technically that's more like vetting. Not really testing as in playing games.

6. By being honest and being there for me. Don't lie to me or try to bs me because I will see through it sooner than later and I will treat you like you never existed. Also, don't be critical and if so make sure it's always constructive. With this placement we're already so hard on ourselves, so please don't add to the fire by telling us things that we're already aware of because it won't help at all.

3) hyper self awareness. I can see that. Its definitely a huge part of my Saturn/sun conjunction. It took me a long time to learn to validate my success. I'm still not there yet.

4) the vetting process is a mature approach. My Capricorn Venus can relate to this. I didn't see it from that perspective.

It also makes me extremely realistic to the point of being almost negative. Or maybe other placements affect it to but I don't know.

1) I don't think it affecst my romantic relationship. Oh there is some of that, I have scars on my body so at times I can be quite reluctant to shed my clothes. Usually I get over it quite quickly. It depends on my mood, sometimes I'm ok with it and don't care at all, sometimes I'm not.

I don't run away. To have someone liking me back - that's a good thing. Usually I let the other person know my feelings n thoughts. I think that makes things a bit easier for everyone. Running away, push-pull or whatnot may cause the other person to over-analyse, misunderstand or have unnecessary bad feelings.

I think venus-saturn conj makes me analyze my romantic relationships. If I don't see the relationship being able to survive I'd stop.

I analyze my feelings. But when I want something, or someone, I don't even stop to think or analyze. Surprisingly when I act on impulses n gut feelings I have more success ;( I'm at my happiest when I do what I want.
