I have a Sag Stellium including sun. Until about 4 maybe 5 years ago I felt very Sag.Now I definitely feel more like my Libra moon. IP: Logged |

Well I am more sensitive to people and their moods, I can read easily how someone feeling so being around too many people for too long I tend to get emotionally frazzled. Even being around my SO who I adore, I do need time alone to rejuvenated, its very important I get my me time.I will admit I can be passive aggressive with my emotional approach to people. But when I get really upset with someone...watch out lol! Knew a girl back in AZ who was very much into Astrology and she believed that we are more our Moon sign than our Sun, she said the Moon was more powerful as far as bringing out the true emotions of someone. Well for guys the sun is more important and for girls the moon is. Also it depends on whether its a day or a night chart. Day charts the sun is going to be more powerful and vice versa. Literally no one has ever guessed my moon sign and for good reason. My Leo overpowers it to a huge extreme as I'm both a guy with a day chart and Leo dominant. Scorpio moon is the deepest of the deep and will only come out when it feels comfortable in private to do so. Whereas Aries moon is almost obvious. ------------------

i feel both since my sun (scorp) squares my moon (aqua) not by aspect but by sign so its easy for me to feel the different energys when i express themIP: Logged |

Actually never really considered that before, but yeah actually I think I can identify more with my moon than my sun. A recent friendship of mine has made me see my Gem moon a lot, especially with the witty/humorous nature that comes along with it. ------------------

I've always been able to peg people's moon signs more accurately than their sun signs. I'm not 100 percent sure why, but I think it has something to do with the fact that in my own chart, my Aries Moon is hanging out as the bucket handle of my chart. I've got a bucket configuration in my chart, and the Moon is the handle, which typically means that you filter the rest of your chart through that planet that is the handle.Also, I've noted that the vast majority of my friends (past and present) have 5th or 11th house Moons. I personally have a 5th house Moon myself, so I guess that 5th/11th axis has some significance for me. IP: Logged |

I'd say both are felt strongly by me.When I am outspoken,opinionated and discussing topics that I am passionate about, I get very competitive, vivacious and aggressive. Even when playing games and for leisure, I can be quite competitive. I don't like losing. My Sun in Sagittarius is warm, fiery and expressive. I don't respond well to water signs at first(even when their moon is in a water sign). Because I can "sense" that our external approaches are at odds. But when I'm in a relationship, I can be quite the "homemaker" and extremely domesticated. You'd find this philosopher and opinionated guy cooking in the kitchen and taking care of loved ones. It feels good for me to make sure that everyone is okay and I tend to get very personal with people I care for. This is the Moon sign in Cancer in action. The two energies are at play here and they coincide beautifully. I feel the conflict in expressing my Sun sign in Sagittarius and my Moon in Cancer, even when the two are not in the formal "quincunx/inconjunct" aspect, when I am caught between expressing what I truly think of something(Sun in Sag) and offending people's feelings (Moon Cancer). I don't want to draw enemy lines by doing this and I reckon that if my moon was in Aries, I'd offend all(including my parents) IP: Logged |

I don't buy into that really. I think that, in your case, the fixed nature of both the Sun and Moon may complement each other. I wonder if you have them in square aspect? I know someone who has these two signs in square aspect. He is the sweetest guy that I know.  In his case,his Venus/Mars is conjunct in Libra and I think it really softens out the "dark" Scorpio element. You have a Leo Venus and Mercury in your chart. Are they conjunct? Where is your Mars sign? He also understands my "mood" swings and claims, even when I'm denying it, that he "gets" me. My character seems not to be confusing to him at all. Scorpio moon, albeit it's "secretive" nature, is very evident. I tend to spot this moon very easily. He is the first Scorpio Moon that I like, the others just seem so "possessed" , it kinda scare me away.

I do have them in Square aspect which is why I say so. In fact my moon squares Mercury and venus as well. My sun is sandwiched between my mercury and my venus so both are conjunct sun. My Mars is in Libra, and Leo is ruler of 7th house. Not many people can see my Scorpio moon side since, like I said, I'm so Leo dominant it overpowers it and can make me very very open about stuff. It just means I'll just talk about stuff that happened rather than feeling the emotions connected to it. Most people think I'm an Earth moon since I come off so unemotional, yet earth is my weakest element :P ------------------

I tend to like moon placements better. Sun can be too competitive when it's conjunctions. Moon/Venus I like waaaay better than sun/Venus.IP: Logged |

Point taken. It's just that I also have Moon aspecting Mercury and Mars by opposition and square respectively. But the Moon in Cancer is still very much felt; even if the emotions may be intellectualized. I guess to each his own. Just one last question; If you had to choose to either be (1) the President or the (2)Adviser to the Presidency. Which would you be? And why?

Moon - Cancer - 4th house. If you have a Cancer stellium, the Moon seems likely to guide some of that. Maybe it influences your sensing other people's Moons as well if you relate through it in general. IP: Logged |
