Which signs/aspects/planets/houses can make reference to poetry? Someone who is interested in poetry or actually has skills to write poetry? Neptune/pisces or mercury/gemini?IP: Logged |

I would think Venus Conjunct Mercury and Neptune in Gemini in the Fifth House. Venus would be art, Mercury the ability to communicate, and Neptune the imagination necessary to give rise to poetry. The Fifth House relates to creativity, which is also necessary for good poetry. Gemini is the sign of communication, which would seem to make for a good writer. I'm sure there are other aspects/placements, but this seems like it'd be the ideal one.I'm curious as to why you're asking this. If it's not too personal, would you mind giving some context? I agree, think heavy neptune or mercury, and/or pisces and gemini placements - gemini is more spoken word/rap, pisces is more Neruda.IP: Logged |

A well-aspected Venus in a creative house or sign. As was said, 5th house is perfect for planets in or Leo since they have the same energy. A strong Neptune as was also said could signify this or heavy Pisces influence. Libra tends to be very into poetry and quite good at it (again, venus). Taurus would just love to read poetry, probably not very good at writing it. Gemini could possibly also come up with some good prose.------------------ Leo Sun Scorpio Moon Capricorn Rising Leo Mercury Leo Venus Libra Mars Sagittarius Jupiter Pisces Saturn Capricorn Uranus Capricorn Neptune Scorpio Pluto Virgo Chiron IP: Logged |

I write poetry. I have Venus Quintile Neptune, Neptune opposite Ascendant and Pisces MC. Pluto and NN is in my 5th house. Pluto trines Venus. Sappho is a good asteroid for this sort of stuff because she was a poet, I think. My Sappho is in the 1st house and trines Venus. These are the aspects in my chart that I've read are artistic placements. I'd defo look up Sappho as well as neptune stuff though. IP: Logged |

Either one. Mercury would probably be prominent for some reason since it rules words. Pisces likes to write.

Everyone is saying Mercury Gemini but I think Mercury Virgo would be ideal as well. Virgo would just make it a lot harder for the person to flow with it because of how critical they can be towards their own work.IP: Logged |

I find Virgo Mercury likes to instruct about topics like science and they love technical jargon while Gemini Mercury is just very quick and glib. IP: Logged |

Chart ruler is Mercury, Mercury conjunct Venus, Venus in the 3rd house, Mercury in the 5th house, Moon sextile or trine Mercury, good aspects from Mercury or Venus to Neptune, Neptune in the 3rd house or 5th house.I personally have Mercury conjunct Venus, plus the house that Venus rules in my chart is in the 5th (Libra cusp). I also have Venus in the 3rd house and Moon sextile Mercury. I do write some good poetry and music. IP: Logged |

I take literature in college. Poetry is one of my subjects. And I hate it! Everyone seems to love it, though, everyone but me. So I'm looking for an aspect in my chart comparing to some of my classmates charts to see why I can't get poetry as much as they do, to me it doesn't make sense at all. And I'm a pisces sun and mercury with a 3rd house stellium in cappy, so I don't know where's the big deal... My mercury conjucts uranus, could it be? IP: Logged |
