What is the best marriage between mutable signs? What is the best other type of degree type of signs that are best for mutable signs.

Do you guys know any mutable signs that are best for each other, such as best friends.

I wouldn't say that mutable signs are inherently a great match, unless they have other easy aspects elsewhere in their charts.

I'm a Virgo and never (as far as I'm aware) even dated a Saggitarius, just the once with a Pisces (very passionate but imploded pretty quick). The only mutable sign that I had more attraction for was Gemini (usually Gemini's cusping Taurus). Although they were good fun and we related on many levels, I knew in my heart they weren't right for me as a husband.

I think the mutable aspect for me just led to frequent blow-hot, blow-cold on both sides and a feeling of not really knowing where you stood with each other.

This has been my experience too. I want my next guy to be more cardinal less mutable.

Exactly. That is what ive been told by mutable signs is what happened in their relationship with other mutables, too. Its like they are both so flexible and adaptable that together they dont know which way to go and kind of squander their energy and it just blows hot and cold. You put two cardinals together and its gonna blow HOT all the time. Its either FURIOUS or FUN and two mutables its more like very fluctuating not sure how to feel. Two fixed its always arguing always thinking they are right, fixed signs are opinionated and dont like to budge

This is often the case.

As a Sag Sun, the Gemini attraction seems inevitable. Problem is, we argue and fight a lot and the split is also inevitable....then the make-up..then the split. And around and around we keep going!

i'm a gemini and have dated a lot geminis.
it seems most people i end up being really attracted to, are geminis. it's weird. current SO is a gemini, and we're very deeply in love.

i favor mutable peeps in friendship as well. especially saggis. and come to think of it, i have some super great virgo friends as well.

i can find cardinal too pushy, though i can admire it, i just don't like being influenced it, especially intimately.
i haven't dated anyone with a lot of fixed energy. as friends i enjoy them, i'm usually compassionate/understanding to their ways, and they don't push them on me the way cardinal energy can.

Mercury is in Virgo too. Why do you ask dadoo? Because of the affinity with Gemini's?

Well yes, I was a bit surprised that of all mutable signs, a Virgo would pick Gemini over Pisces, as it is square and earth/air.
I thought it would be an easier match with a Leo or a Libra Mercury.

My Virgo friend had the choice between a Gemini guy and a Pisces guy and she ended up marrying the Gemini guy too, so it's not just you.

I think more likely it's my Libra Ascendant that attracted the Gemini's (and vice versa). I'm still friends with one of my long term Gemini boyfriends, I actually really appreciate his witty sense of humour much more than I did back then (which was almost 20 years ago! yikes!). I like Gemini's ease and witty charm in social situations. As friends they are great, but we can get on eachother's nerves as boyfriend/girlfriend. I always remember the second date I went on with my Gemini bf, we went to some jazz club with lots of people in the audience. He was paying more attention to scouting the crowd than me. That really irritated me. I'm not really a people watcher but I think Geminis are.

My friend's an Aries rising. She obviously rushed into this marriage.
As a good Virgo, she always says "everything's fine" but they take turns being home on weekends sooo...

Ummm, I didn't really know what a decans was so I had to look it up. lol

It's in the third decans I believe 20-30 degrees - which is apparently ruled by Mercury (for Libras). Hmmm. Maybe that explains the connection with Gems too.

Oh and my Mercury in Virgo is in the first decans, which is also ruled by Mercury.

My parents. They are both. They have really great chemistry together, but can also get into a lot of arguments. The reason for argument on an objective plane would be that Leos hate criticism and Virgo is the most critical of all signs. Other reasons are that Leo is generally a subjective thinker, whereas Virgos are more objective in their approach. Leos, believe it or not, like to keep harmony and peace. Virgos are honest, whether this disrupts harmony or not. Leos need respect; Virgos are very direct and can sometimes infringe the boundaries set by the Leo unknowingly.

The reasons they get along are much more vague. I think that it's the opposite energy. Because they're so different, they actually help to "complete" on another. They're both incredibly compassionate, kind, and generous. They love helping people. After getting past petty differences, they have very similar views. They both like to explore. They both like communication. I'm not perfectly sure why, but this combination tends to work a lot of times.

As a side note, they do have compatible Moons. My mom, a Leo, has a Gemini Moon. And my dad, the Virgo, has a Leo Moon. Their Ascendants clash also, however. My mom has a Scorpio Ascendant, and my dad a Leo Ascendant. Yes, both are stubborn.

I like this analysis too. I seem to find "completion" more with my neighboring signs too, Libra and Leo (increasingly Libra these days). But I find Libra men touchy if they aren't getting their own way, lots of cardinal energy which I cannot always satisfy as a chilled mutable Virgo. haha. And I often have ego clashes with Leos. But I like them in my life because they bring a sense of security and protection emotionally (esp. Leo) in a light-hearted way. I really appreciate Libras and Leos when we're getting along great!

Thanks, lol. Living with them for such a long time makes it pretty easy to dissect the relationship.

I also have to say that I get along REALLY well with Pisces. I get along reasonably well with Capricorn as well. But even with a huge Aquarius influence, most of my friends (by most, I mean actually over 50%) are Pisces. They offer a much more emotional view of the world, and I like their philosophical natures.

They say that each sign, in order, one after the other, is a higher level of personal development than the one before it. Perhaps all signs get along really well with the sign after it because the next sign represents all that the preceding sign is not. So basically, Aries gets along well with Taurus, Taurus with Gemini, Gemini with Cancer, and so on. And if you think about it, all of those sign combinations are very different from one another. The highly conservative Taurus or Cancer with the largely communicative and progressive Gemini for instance.

Although, I have a Pisces descendant, which is what I've always attributed the attraction to. But upon seeing these experiences, maybe it is more than that. Maybe semi-sextile energy is something that is actualy very positive?
