They say you can trust your enemies more than your friends, and from my experience moon sign is more telling of you when it comes to personal relationships and I'm an lunar Scorpio so I'm least compatible ("enemies") with lunar Leo and lunar Aquarius. So does that mean I can trust them more than lunar Cancers and lunar Pisces (the signs I'm most compatible/friendly with)? Like I see how compatibility could be important in love relationships, but does this apply to friendships? Since you kinda compete against friends.

I thought the saying was:Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer. You can learn alot about yourself from your enemies. Of course you can be friends with people who have squares to your signs, it ultimately depends on the maturity of the individual. Some individuals are out there to be everyone's enemy, some not. Enemies would come from people who have Oppositions to your planets, like Sun opposite Sun. If your Moon squares or opposes someone's planet, you're likely to find them irritating! IP: Logged |

I think having moon in any of the fixed signs squaring someone else's moon isn't necessarily going to cause issues of non-trust, you're just both going to be pig-headed about your opinions (and especially feelings) and there will probably be constant tension and conflict in that area. Other good aspects help ease the tension of course, but fundamentally you're not going to see eye to eye on things with square aspects. Air/water, water/fire. The opposition (eg Aquarius with Leo or Scorpio with Taurus) will cause either fireworks in the case of air/fire or drag you down in the case of water/earth. I suppose it depends on house placements too though. IP: Logged |

I think the distrust is caused by confusion and misunderstanding than them being bad as such. I'm a Lunar Libran and I had some Lunar Cap and Cancer friends but we simply parted because we didn't understand each other. Actually, I was a bit insensitive to Lunar Cancer friend that I had, I was 17 at the time, now twenty years later, I see the error of my ways. Like I said, I don't think these people are bad but the friction because of the incompatibility is just too much. IP: Logged |

Neither. One aspect does not determine something like that.IP: Logged |

I would understand lunar air moons more than the others but trust is a different issue, it would equate to the whole being. IP: Logged |

yeah for me if there are too many squares or oppositions, there is too much tension and irritation. IP: Logged |

I think it depends on your natal chart. Many of the people I feel close to have their sun or moon square/opposing my moon in Taurus.ex boyfriend - moon in Leo square my moon. exact aspect I was totaly trusting him and never felt betrayed. Some Very good friends - sun in scorpio closely opposing my moon. Moon in scorpio. While, a person with whom I have a turbulent relationship is my brother. His moon tightely trines my moon! I regard him most of an enemy and I don't trust him anymore. My moon in Taurus is very strong conjunct the MC, and is opposite uranus in scorpio, so I'm probably used to hard aspects like that. Or maybe I need them to feed my moon. IP: Logged |

I've noticed that it's easier to deal with a Sun-Moon square than a Moon-Moon square. I think Moon-Moon square and Mercury-Mercury squares are probably some of the more difficult aspects out there.IP: Logged |

well your ex-boyfriend's case is different because love relationships are different from friendships. of course you would trust your lover as for your scorpio moon friend we should try to keep this discussion on moon to moon aspects thanks for the info on your brother IP: Logged |

I have a Capricorn Moon. I don't trust Cancer Moon. I don't trust Aries Moon. I'm very neutral about Libra Moon. I also don't trust Taurus Moon... and I'm neutral about Virgo Moon. I actually only trust Scorpio Moon - when I've known them for a few years.

I'm aries moon. I have several friends with cap moons. A few cancer and libra. I have the most problems with libra. I have cap stellium so that's probably why tho I have noticed younger cap moons have more problems with me IP: Logged |

This is over-simplistic,IMO. Most squares are connected with other aspects, forming patterns. Fixed Moon squares are very binding. Nobody can understand the "fixity" of your Moon sign better than another fixed Moon sign. You just need elements of flexibility (like mutable planets) to integrate the square in the overall relationship in a positive manner. IP: Logged |
