So my question is:

Do certain planets ALWAYS remain sexual like Mars or if your Mars is your 10th House ruler, does it behave more like Saturn instead of being a sexual planet?

Another example would be Mercury ruling the 8th House and being aspected by Mars in synastry, so would you get more of a Mars/Pluto effect?

Another would be someone's Pluto conjunct your Moon but your Moon is ruling your 12th House so it's not as hot hot hot as people normally think or is it?

Or Pluto is ruling their 12th and conjuncts your Moon but it doesn't have the impact you expected it would?

I only have Sag in Neptune (4H) but it is squares his Moon, squares my own ascendant and conjuncts his ascendant. We have some REAL dolphin-talk going on that just intensifies everything.

You're right, ascendants DO cause a lot of sexual attraction. Do you have any other specific aspects that spell "h-o-t s-e-x" for you in synastry?

Mars may not be sexual at all. If Mars rules the 10th, you will have to look at how it is connected to the natural 10th house ruler and or with other planets in the 10th house or connected with the 10th house. Mars is ENERGY, could be mental if associated with mercury,physical, spiritual or sexual. Mars with neptune may induce a certain sexual inactivity. The sexual 'click' may well be another planet.

Did you know that Saturn could be a sexual beast?

I am kind of grappling with the 5th and 8th House. I try to be as empirical as possible and use my own chart but my Sun rules my 5th, sits in the 1st conjunct Jupiter and Pluto is opposite them both. Pluto rules my 8th. So it's difficult to separate them to assess the 5th house affect in my chart.

I have never had sex with someone that isn't a partner but I do have 10th House Capricorn Moon and I can be very practical about my partner's needs, fulfilling them without needing it myself and maybe sometimes, only sometimes using it to get a favorable mood for some personal gain. Sexual beast indeed!

About Neptune/Mars, do you think that Neptune would always create that indecisive, foggy atmosphere around Mars, even if it wasn't the 12th House ruler in a chart? Do you think it would be subdued if it had the energy of Mars by being the Ascendant ruler?

How do you see the 5th House working personally?

Actually there is someone who wants to get into my pants at the moment, my Pluto conjuncts his Mars, his Pluto conjuncts my sun, his moon conjuncts my Asc, his neptune trines my mars, and his sun sextiles my mars and venus. Lots of other nice trines from Jupiter and our Saturns are behaving themselves too which is a bonus!.

The attraction is pretty strong on both sides but I think there's the potential for romance too, not just sex.

But I've gone all shy in my old age. lol

Anyway, I would say any good aspects from Mars are usually significant.

My Mars in Libra (Aries Point) rules my 3rd house and is conjunct Pluto and Mercury in the 8th house.
My Pluto rules my MC.
My Venus in Virgo rules my IC (and the 9th) and is on the 8th house cusp.
My Moon in Leo is in the 7th house and rules my DSC.

As you can see, all my sexual planets are relational, sort of speak.

So are his, I think.

His Mars in Gemini (9th) rules his 8th house.
His Pluto conj ASC in Libra rules his 3rd house.
His Venus in Aquarius (5th) rules his 2nd (and 9th).
His Moon in Scorpio (2nd) relates to intercepted sign Cancer in 10th house. I wonder what that means?? Could this mean the Moon is not properly activated unless the intercepted sign is activated too?

We have many contacts between these planets, among which:

Mars (my 3rd house ruler) conjuncts his Pluto (his 3rd house ruler). And it is true that we talk a lot about sex.
His Mars trine my Pluto
Mars trine Mars

His Mars square my Venus
His Venus trines my Mars and my Pluto

Moon square Moon, Moon opp Venus etc.

Both my 5th and 8th houses are ruled by Mercury. His 5th house ruler is Uranus conjunct my Uranus/Lust/Valentine conjunction. His 8th house ruler is, as I said, Mars. His Mars trines my Mercury, my Mars quincunx his Mercury.

But, above all, as the others say, we have my stellium in the 8th (Mars Pluto Mercury) conjunct his ASC (Mars on ASC) His ASC is conjunct Pluto/Lust/Valentine. And my Sun conjuncts his ASC. His sextiles mine.

What to look for to answer your question?

*Other than the exact Venus opposite Pluto ( it's a dw ), that stands out ...
*Rulers and angles connections:
My ASC conjuncts MC.
His 8H ruler conjuncts my MC, trines my sun.
His 7H ruler conjuncts my ASC, trines my moon.
Our 5H rulers ( our mercuries ) conjunct.
My 5H ruler also conjunct his sun and venus.
*Outter to personal planets connection:
Venus-Uranus DW
Mars-Uranus DW
Venus-Neptune DW
Sun-Uranus
Sun-Neptune DW
Mercury(our 5H ruler)-Uranus DW
Mercury-Neptune

My ASC also: sextiles his Venus/Sun/Mercury and Square mars.

His Venus is in the 11H and I have Aqua rising. My Venus in 3H he has Gemini rising.

His ASC: conjuncts my mars and moon.

I always keep aspects under 4-5 degrees, but since my venus and his mars in the same sign and are 8 degrees apart I would say it's felt.

There has been a time where I have lost my drive, but this synastry turned things upside down.

-If it's sexual it's likely to remain sexual. My venus is the 4H ruler and it still feel sexual when aspected. However if non-sexual planet rules over a sex house then it becomes sexual.

- It still does, in the synastry I posted, his Pluto rules his 6H ( not so sexual ) but the Venus opposite Pluto plays so clearly in the relationship.

Leo is the natural ruler of the 5th house, Scorp is your 8th. So the Sun is in Aries. The Sun is exalted in Aries isn't it not? The matters of the 5th house is important to you, romance, creative and recreational pursuits. Do you view sex as a recreation? Would you be okay to engage in casual sex even if you haven't done it till now?

About Mars/Neptune. I don't think it's indecisiveness, or may be it is, for I am talking from my personal experience. I have Mars sq neptune exact. But since I have venus/neptune,sun/neptune,merc/neptune,saturn/neptune, I may not be the best person to answer this question!

However, yes the status of Mars in the natal chart would greatly influence the expression of mars/neptune keeping in mind that neptune is a generational planet and if it is only in contact with Mars as a personal planet that is exalted/domicile/ or has term dignity.

I am seeing a new guy now and his Pluto squares my mars also but out synastry is much easier....
His Venus/Psyche on my Kaali/Lilith/Cupido
My Sun/Merc/Nep is in his AC/Merc
My Sun sextiles his Mars
His Eros sextiles my Mars
My cap Eros/Valentine/IC and my virgo Juno trines his taurus Lilith and sextiles/opposes his pisces Moon

We have a lot of angle activity which I think is important, all the angles are important or help for long term stability and compatibility but the AC seems to add more to the chemistry than the other angles.
