Topic: Physical Stress and Ascendant

If we are stressed enough it can take a physical toll on our bodies. A light bulb went on in my head while reading about the signs and which part of the body they rule. I am a Virgo rising.
Ever since I was a little girl my stress has always come out through stomach pains. For example:
I was maybe 10 and at a friends when we came across an XXX movie. Having no idea what it was, but wondering why it was hidden in a cupboard we put it in.
Whaaaat.
I knew it was not for kids and I felt like I was going to get in trouble for watching it.
It haunted me, especially at night when I was trying to sleep. To top it off, I confided in my younger sister about watching it.. and what did she do?
Used it against me. "Im going to tell mommy about that movie you watched" ....so every night as I lie in bed and thought about the horrible thing I did and how much trouble I would get in my stomach would hurt; to the point my mom would make me drink baking soda water (blah!)
One day my mom over heard my sister threatening me about the movie and she barged into the room, "What movie?!"
I began to weep about the horrible thing I had done.
Turns out I was not in trouble at all (my dad got yelled at though lol) and after that my nightly stomach pains completely ended.
I still get stomach pains on and off brought on by stress.
Whats your rising sign and does stress pop out through there? Aries - Head

I'm a Virgo riser and I have a tendency to chest pains. It might have something to do with my packed 5th house.------------------

I get stomach aches and pretty bad headaches when I'm stressed out, and I'm Taurus Rising. I've got a stronger 4H, Kronos in Aries, and Ares 2H... a detriment and a fall.------------------

Virgo rising with Mars.Always had headaches and nosebleeds. Have also hit my head many many many times. Scars here and there. IP: Logged |

When I am anxious, excited or unsettled, I tend to have butterflies in my stomach.I feel a need to go to relieve myself and can get very nervous to a point where I stutter. I have Moon-Mercury opposition and I think the Mercury planet natally is the primal influence of these symptoms. I don't think my Asc ruler (Venus) is involved in my case. IP: Logged |

Virgo rising here, as well. When I get stressed, it's usually my head that feels like it's going to explode...I had a rough patch at work not too long ago, and I had a migraine for six weeks straight until everything sorted itself out.------------------

Im a cancer Asc and i feel like i always have to move my hands lol or have something in it like a phone or pen, etc. But thats more in public. Not at home or at friends houses.IP: Logged |

Me too, and I'm also cancer rising…when I get nervous/stressed out I always fickle around with my hands, not knowing what to do with them lol… but in general I feel stomach pain too and headache, I think this is normal symptoms for stress IP: Logged |
