Hi IQ,I saw that you were mentioning quintiles in another thread. how do you interprete them? And how important have you found them? I have noticed quite a bit of quintile "action" in my composite, which intrigues me, but I am not exactly sure if how I interprete it is the right way. IP: Logged |

BUMP! I got 3 quintiles in my composite too, which I think is important

Next to Neptune,do you also have a 5th harmonic triangle? I have at least two.
One with Jupiter in 5th quintile Saturn in 7th, and both biquintile Venus in 12th (so Venus is on the Jupiter/Saturn-mp).
And the other one has Sun in 11th quintile Pluto in 8th/9th as a base, both biquintile Juno in 4th - with Juno on the Sun/Pluto-mp.

From my Quintile Files  The Quintile is the creative, willing risk taking, playful and joyful dimension of the relationship.
Keywords for the quintile are beauty, love, magic.
Gift.
Bringing together of male and female.
The couple as The creative solution. (between the two planets involved).
There is an undercurrent of almost magic with the quintile, and over time the relationship grows stronger deeper, gradually transforming both people, so that over time their compatibility grows.
If you find these there is joy to be found in the relationship. It might be through children, through work or just simply enjoyment of each other and a common involvement with arts, music etc. These people are prepared to take a few chances, and will tend to lay it all on the line to each other so there is indwelling honesty. 5th harmonic in synastry could be an intense, passionate relationship connection. There could be a intellectual bond with each other. They can bring about transformation in each other's lives. They can express creativity with each other. This can be a romantic connection. This can produce children which are the ultimate creations that 2 people together bring about. Decile is 10th harmonic aspect but also a semiquintile and so also related to 5th harmonic aspect. This could be about supporting involving career, working with each other, and help bring order and structure as well as creativity, romance, children with each other.

thank you all for your input, much of it made sense to me.Leeloo, what you wrote resonated strongly with me, too, and I am glad IQ sees it the same way. I of course related it to Mr Sag (it seems easier to feel it in relation to other people for me than actually see my own moon-mars quintile in action. It might be, I just might not see what it does so clearly as maybe others would.) As I said there were quite some quintile aspects in the composite - Sun quintile Pluto exact; Sun biquintile ALMA exact; Sun biquintile JUNO; Pluto biquintile JUNO; Moon quintile Uranus; Moon biquintile DESTINN-PERSEPHONE exact; DESTINN quintile Uranus exact; Venus biquintile Jupiter and Saturn exact; Jupiter quintile Saturn exact; KARMA quintile NN and AMOR exact - synastrically - my Sun quintile his EROS exact; my Jupiter quintile his Moon exact; my Jupiter quintile his MC; my Saturn biquintile his Mercury; my Saturn quintile his Vertex exact; my Uranus biquintile his ASC exact; my Neptune quintile his Saturn; my Neptune quintile his Vertex exact; my Pluto quintile his Neptune exact; my Pluto quintile his Juno exact; my Nn quintile his Vertex exact; my Vertex quintile his Chiron and KARMA exact; my EROS quintile his Chiron and KARMA exact; my DESTINN quintile his DESTINN exact -
sorry for the long list; I had noticed the Moon-Jupiter-quintile but wasn`t quite aware of HOW MANY quintiles there were between our charts (and I was sticking to the 1 degree orb on astro.com. lol)
But anyway, there just seems such a dominance of quintiles in this synastry and composite; it probably is telling me something.
And I was hypothesizing that maybe that is one of the explanations why I am getting this wonderful feeling of carefreeness around him. Freedom, playfulness, joy and just going with the flow. But in a rather sparkly way, not the settled, sedated way, more energetic and expansive energy. But wow, did you see the long list of quintiles? lol

Makes me think maybe I should check the 5th harmonic charts when I have more time. lol
