I seem to find very little about this, except for Bruno and Louise Huber (The Astrological Houses - A Psychological View of Man and His World)House Cusps are zones of high activity, where energies accumulate most strongly and are intensely directed externally. Planets there react strongly to outside stimulation and gain fulfillment through the environment. A few questions arise for me: 1. Do these planets trigger some important issues in the other's house? 2. Do they influence both houses equally? 3. Are the planets intensified (and behaving in a manner specific to the house) or do they intensify the house (and the house person reaction)? How do you interpret this planet/asteroid house cusp conjunction in synastry? For example, in my synastry I have quite a few: My Psyche conjunct his 5th cusp - 1 His Chiron conjunct my 3rd cusp 0 (Alma is on my 3rd cusp) His Mars conjunct my 5th cusp 1 My Valentine conjunct his 2nd cusp 1 His Moon conjunct my MC 0 His Neptune conjunct my 11th cusp 2 My own Venus is exactly on my 8th cusp But the one that interests me the most: His IC conjunct my 12th cusp 0/ his MC-Saturn 0 conjunction on my 6th Many thanks! I am fascinated by planets on house cusps in both natal and synastry.Do you have any in your natal? Do you feel they trigger that house for you? or that important events related to the house were triggered by the energy of that planet? Do the dispositor of the planet/aspects tell you how the triggering can occur? What about synastry? Do you feel that the person with planets/angles near your cusp triggers that house for you? I have my Moon conjunct the 3rd house cusp by less than 1 degree. I don't relate much to a 3rd house Moon.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Hi, Cappy You mean she's still in second? Don't you feel you need to be emotionally connected in order to "perform" 3rd house activities: mental focus, communication, learning, sister etc? Like not being able to do these things without your Moon being involved? just curious... IP: Logged |

Yes, she's in the second house. I need to be interested in the subject to feel motivated to learn but don't all the people feel this way?------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Not all. I mean, not for everyone is a matter of investing emotionally; it could be: ambition, peer pressure, all kinds of ulterior motives IP: Logged |

If someone was willing to pay me well for learing something not-so-interesting, I would consider it Anyway, I don't need a 3rd house Moon for all of this, I have 4th house Mercury ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I do like my 3rd house. I just don't think it influences my Moon.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

My Neptune is in the 5th house and less than 1 deg away from its cusp. I can only have a love life in my imagination ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Or you could be a great artist. Or be very idealist in love. In any case, Neptune ( a certain degree of idealization or glamour) should be indispensable for you to fall in love. I hope you won't fall in love with a movie star IP: Logged |

I think many planets/angles on house cusps in synastry point to a turning-point, important relationship.IP: Logged |
