Topic: favorite or hated decans for each sign?

Even in signs I generally dislike I notice I tend to get along with more that belong to a certain decan.I usually get annoyed by third decan gems. 2nd decan pisces produces the most loveliest people ime. IP: Logged |

I haven't really paid much attention, but i tend to like third decan scorpios. It might be due to the fact that they oppose my mars mercury and asc tough.
And i hate third decan virgos, having a Taurus decan makes them stubborn and skeptic, does not go well with the rest of virgos personality imo.

Exactly my words about 3rd decan Virgo. I'm very tolerant towards people but, damn it these people you can even sense when they are going to say a negative remark. Of course that is probably only a minority of people so no offense meant to anyone. My favourite is 1st decan Aries, for obvious reasons  IP: Logged |

I find the whole decan thing interesting.Darkstar astrology has some interesting writings on decans.One way of looking at it is---the early degrees of a sign are like babies,they are new to that sign,just learning about it.Not sure about mid-decans,but the late decans of a sign have mastered it,like they are that sign super-charged.
Take Jimmy Fallon for example.He is born Sept 19 I think.He is like the ultra Virgo,all the characteristics and personality traits of Virgo intensified.Virgo to the max.
The decan that is most annoying but also most amusing to me is late decan Leos.They are just so Leo-to-the-extreme.Super full of themselves,super egomaniacs,large personalities to go with it too.Can be so pompous,arrogrant,and in love with themselves.
Sean Penn,Madonna,Edward Norton,Christian Slater,Ben Affleck(his Venus in Cancer softens it a bit)Robert Redford are some examples.
3rd decan Scorpios,they are also quite a handful.Very intense!
These include Leonardo DiCaprio,Demi Moore,Jody Foster.
I happen to like 1st decan Scorpios.Very intense,but in a different way.It's hard to describe.
Some of these are Keith Urban,Joaquin Phoenix,Ben Foster.
Maybe one reason I like them is between they trine my sun.I am a 1st decan Cancer.
Does anyone here know any 1st decan Cancers?What are your thoughts?IP: Logged |

I don't use Decans. I can't understand why astrology would want to mix two differing mathematical systems, decimal and duodecimal. The entire chart is divided by 12 and the major aspects are based on 12 (multiples of 30 degrees). It's not mathematically sound To mix the two.
I divide each sign by 12 in keeping with the duodecimal system of the horoscope. (12) 2.5 degree segments. It makes sense.
Before criticizing, try it out and see if it works. I found that it has validity. There is a rotating sequence for each sign and its degrees. You can look it up and create a chart as a reference to make it easy.
I'm not saying the decimal (decan) division based on number 10 doesn't work at all, I'm just suggesting an exploration of an alternate system that may be scientific and accurate according to numerology and sacred geometry. That's all. IP: Logged |

I don't like darkstars decans. It uses sidereal. Leo 1st decan is ruled by the sun, not Saturn, otherwise the sun wouldn't be ruler of Leo! I read somewhere that the decan that represents the modality of the sign is the strongest one. So like the first for Aries, the 2nd for taurus, the 3rd for Gemini, etc. ------------------
