When I mean opposition I am actually talking about outers (mainly Uranus/Pluto, Neptune is a bit confusing) and Saturn to personal placements.
Have you ever noticed that one sign is almost always put on a pedestal & admired whereas the other one is barely tolerated? And it's not the outer's sign that's often disliked, it could actually be the other way around. I'm aware when it comes down to opposition that a bit a projection is also involved, but so far in my experience it's actually about the energy not the signs per se. Say someone has Sun opp Uranus and they complain when other people don't stick to the rules , but when you thrust a schedule to their face they go around and do the same thing.
In my natal chart the opposition kind of plays like this: one sign (the red-haired stepchild) starts with a negative score and an impossible high standard that they have to live up to. When I didn't realize (until someone called me on it )is that I'm practically setting them up to fail in such a way that allows me to walk away with a clear conscience.
The opposite sign ( the privileged child) starts with a positive score just by being themselves. That's it. And if they don't screw up monumentally the feeling remains constant.
I want to restore the balance and to bring things on a fair ground. I'm actually asking for tips on how to successfully integrate an opposition in my chart with hurting innocent bystanders that display a certain energy. I guess awareness is a first step, but I don't know what to afterwards.
