I've read that affliction to the sun and 5th house ruler can indicate heart problems. I think it was a verdic astrology article.

5th house is heart and spine and Jupiter is it's native planet - Leo native sign
Leo is also the sign from the heart.
Leo also rules sun

This is vedic, so you might want to look at a vedic chart.
To do so at astro.com you need to pick extended chart
Change the house system to whole signs
Zodiac to hindu/lahiri

Then at the bottom select draw no aspect lines

I don't have much information on this one.

I read that Jupiter in Leo/5th house is said to "protect" one from diseases that are heart related? I think that's about it.

Come to think of it, I don't research the Leo sign all that much.
