I am learning about mutual receptions...I have Leo Mars & Scorpio Sun...giving my Mars and Sun a mutual reception. Can someone explain how this plays out? IP: Logged |

which house are they in? could be that your leo sector and scorpio sector help each other or balance each other for example: I've got a mutual reception with the moon in the 10th and saturn in the 4th, so I put more emotions (moon) into my career (10th) than my home (4th) or you could say that I have to "feel at home" (moon) in my career (10th) or even that I put a lot of time & effort (saturn) into building myself a home (4th).. so imo it depends which area of your chart is activated ^^ IP: Logged |

It's a bit like having them in soft aspect, the planets should work together well. If they're also in aspect the MR would be more powerful and informed by the nature of the aspect. I have my 3rd H Sun and 4th H Moon in MR and parallel (half a degree orb). I generally feel like my Cancer and Leo energies are in sync even though supposedly fire and water are not a good combo. That's probably partly the parallel though, they're a bit like soft conjunctions so I think that enhances the natural synergy of the MR. IP: Logged |

My Leo Mars is in H12, and my Scorpio Sun is in H3. Sun is my ruling planet (Leo ASC)... But also, depending on if you use Mars or Pluto for Scorpio--I have Venus in Libra... So not sure if this is a Final Dispositor situation or only mutual reception. IP: Logged |

I have mars in Libra(3 rd house) and Venus in Aries(10th house). I read somewhere it's like two drunks helping each other home : ( Sad part is in real life ppl always mistake me for a fiery Aries persona! Maybe it is the good part : )IP: Logged |

I have mutual reception between Venus in Cancer (11th house) sextile Moon in Taurus (conjunct MC, exact). Venus rules my 10th house wich adds to the significance of this reception. The houses are significant. It shows these houses work together in a harmonius way - especially if the planets are aspecting in a positive way. It is also important to see wich planets rule the housecusps of the houses your receptive planets are positioned.IP: Logged |

I have Moon in Sagittarius (3rd house) quincunx Jupiter in Cancer 10th house).I often find that my professional life does not mesh well with my inner workings/wants/needs/feelings/personal life. Maybe it's because the quincunx isn't really a positive aspect, but if anything, I sort of feel like the mutual reception strengthens the divide rather than lessening it. I have Sagittarius on the IC and Cancer on the 11th. ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

hehe, that made me laugh too. I have no such mutual reception. Maybe that's why I was a terrible receptionist! IP: Logged |

I'd have to say that an MR works like a conjunction, because the two planets definitely work together as a unit. I have Mercury in Taurus and a very afflicted Venus in Gem, and the planets afflicted by Venus, Uranus and Saturn, are definitely supported by the harmonious aspects they make to my Mercury.IP: Logged |

Ur lucky u don't have any such awful mutual reception. This is the worst case scenario of a mutual reception cuz both the planets are opposite each other and at their detriment/fall position. When I should chase my career goals I'm busy chasing a guy who I told to get lost. I would use all my charms/burn my purse buying some cute dresses and play dumb around him to get him. The minute he proposes I would lose interest. Terrible. N my mars is a sleepy head. It wakes up now n then but that happens rarely n I seem to be on fire. Atleast for a while. IP: Logged |
