I beg to differ about a Pisces Descendant being the usher of faith an optimism...if anything it's more like waking up hungover after binging on cheap booze, hah. In any case, I have a Sag moon. I poop faith and optimism. I don't need no stinking Pisces Descendant.  ------------------

Pisces decendent is the worst descendant to have becouase Virgo Asc is the worst Asc to have...Of coarse this general statement needs to be taken with a grain of salt because so much depends on the rest of the chart. The good things that it denotes is that unless the ruler of Pisces is struggling this descendant means your spouse will likely be a good person who has an artistic or imaginitive side and they will be lucky for you. Keep in mind that I use primarily Vedic astrology when it comes to singular natal charts which may shift the houses of a western chart. IP: Logged |

The only good thing about a Pisces DSC is it's better than an Aquarius DSC. Yes, I am sick of attracting Pisces, too. They're great for friends, just not partners. I'd like to try a nice Scorpio or Capricorn for a change....IP: Logged |

I don't know. My DSC is 5 degrees Pisces, and Neptune has been dragging itself back and forth over it for a at least a year, and I think it's gonna retro once more. Anyway, I hold out better hope for a a Piscean Neptune in the 7th house over a Neptune in an Aqua 6th. IP: Logged |

Why is it bad?I think virgo rising is pretty decent rising. Makes you very critical. I don't see the point of emphasizing the DSc because there are other houses indicating partners. My mother is a Scorp Asc. She was married to a pisces, leo moon. And now she is with a scorpio. I wouldn't describe either as Taurean... Even financially lol. I have a cap stellium and I think I'm more likely to be with a Cappy person than a scorpionic one (my dsc)

Well first I should mention that I use mostly Vedic, but the reason Virgo is the worst rising sign (speaking in general terms only) is because it is the only sign in which it's own planet is exalted there which means that they often have to count on themselves in their lives and cannot get much strength or help from others. Their friends abandon them more often than other ascendant signs. Because their Sun rules the 12th house they often don't get adequate recognition or credit (things ruled by the sun) for the work that they do. Mercury is a very inconstant planet that moves quickly and goes retrograde often so there are many ups and downs in their life. Saturn rules BOTH the 5th and 6th so even their luck in life tends to not be much because the good of the 5th is muffled by the bad of the 6th (5th house represents luck and 6th house represents enemies and disease etc). Many of the planets are rough for Virgo Asc. Of coarse these are only GENERALATIES and if the planets are placed ok then Virgo lagnas (like Britney Spears) will do very well in life. IP: Logged |
