Well I mean to say the house placement plays the theme and shows us what to expect and the house ruler is how we express ourself in that situation.Like I have Sag dsc.
Jupiter in Virgo.
So obviously I can expect sag themes when it comes to partnerships which I do enjoy to an extent because I'm adventurous.
But Virgo jupiter is like UHM BUT DON'T GET TOO CRAZY >.<
I noticed with sag energy it can get really unstable quickly like a wild fire because of its mutable quality.
But I think it's interesting that My SO has Gemini dsc and Mercury in Pisces :P
My 5th house is Virgo and I have Mercury in Gemini.
I think because the house ruler is domicile there isn't much of an internal conflict when it comes to courtship.
Same with 8th house ruler which is Capricorn and Saturn is in aquarius.
Which I think is more dynamic because it has Uranian influence to aqua that loosens up Saturn's rigidity
Capricorn is still a good sign for 8th house since it many of its themes of death do not conflict with cap.
