What were your 3 most favorite childhood games and how would you explain it astrologically?

Mine:
dancing to music and pretending to be the singer - a 5th house stellium

recording myself on cassettes, that is my singing and some silly **** like "shopping radio station" - a 5th house stellium and Sagittarius Mercury

playing a console - dunno

I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

My sister and our two female friends who we more or less grew up with used to put on theatrical shows for our mums on a Saturday afternoon. We'd spend the entire morning devising the plot/storyline and characters (I was usually either the "King" or the "Dog" lol) and then we'd force our mothers to sit down for an hour throughout the whole performance, which we probably thought was a masterpiece, but was probably completely ridiculous! (My Venus Leo and Leo MC probably coming into play there!)

I'm a child of the '70s so most of our games were usually outside: Bulldog, Stones (a ball game involving knocking down stones). Indoor games were usually me playing with my plastic horses (I'd set up entire showjumping courses in the living room!). I'd also spend HOURS on my own with my little plastic farm animals. (Virgo sun maybe) lol. I also went through a Cindy Doll phase at some point too. (Libra ascendant? haha)

We also created our own (rather violent when I think back!) game called "Peace Treaty" where we would wrestle and fight until someone called "Peace Treaty" and then we'd have time out. (Mars in Leo I suppose)

Those were the days. Computers probably weren't even invented then.

I always liked to set up jumps with tomatoes caged in my backyard and run through them with my dog pretending to be performers in a show

I liked pretending I was either a wild house or one in a cross country competition

And I really liked red rover, but no one ever really wanted to play that too much

God, I was weird

Oh God, me too!

I actually pretended my bike was a horse. And I turned one section of the backyard into a "stable" with cut grass for hay, tackle I'd made out of bits of leather, and god knows what! My imagination was pretty fertile as as kid. Of course my parents never caved into me CONSTANTLY asking them to buy me a horse. lol

Hahaha, dying of laughter over here.

My cousins and I would put on our grandma's old dresses and make up plays when we were at her house for the day.

Im pointing all this to my virgo ascendant

I used to play with my friend and get all my animal teddies ( virgo moon) and give them personalities, then we'd pretend to be teachers in a school and teach the animals different lessons. (3rd house stellium, learning? ) We'd also dress up the animals in doll clothing. We even made additional things for our games like a chalkboard to write the things we where teaching, and even after school clubs and assemblies, we even made timetables for lessons lol during break times we'd create drama between the characters.

Other games we played was holiday camp, we where in charge of holiday entertainment. We also used to play Harry potter and role play the characters. Pisces rules my 5th so I guess role playing was my favourite games as a kid, my imagination was so strong and endless, it still is, but not in a child like way.

At school people were more practical, we used to play "what time is it mr.wolf?" thinking back on it, it seems pretty dark, that game must of been invented by a 5th house Scorpio or Pluto in 5th.

Oh my gosh Cappy I used to dance, sing, and would record myself, too. I was NEVER happy with my voice, either.
My mother also insisted I be a singer and made me go to church choir and practice on a regular basis, like for 52 weeks without a break, starting at age 5. She was obsessed with church choir and I could never miss one practice!
Finally I told her absolutely not I can't take it any more.
I have a twelfth house stellium with Mercury and also third house Mars in Sagittarius.
What else I did all the time was draw pictures, make up stories and talk to my imaginary buddy. That was when I was happiest of all - Libra Mercury/Jupiter and Uranus conjunct ascendant from the twelfth house. South node in twelfth.

Aww it's so sweet reading what everyone did.

Childhood is a wonderful thing eh?

Other things I remember enjoying doing: Playing with my 5 year old cousin's "Playpeople" (with him) for hours out in the garden, we'd stick them up trees and stuff and do silly role play.

Turning the house into a "hotel" with signs on the doors for "restaurant", "Bedroom 1, 2, etc", "Kitchen" and "Dining room". How on earth did my mother put up with us?

Making elaborate tents in the garden, they were more like communes than tents!

My sister and I also enjoyed spending hours doing 2D floor plans of things like holiday camps, schools and other public areas. It was all hand-drawn of course because we didn't have computers then. and was long before Minecraft, the Sims, Simcity, etc.

Acting like a Cheetah when I was really little.

Aries, fast animal.

When I got older:

Tag on the "House Bars" and you can't touch the ground.

Capture the Flag

Which always felt more like this when I won:

I'm an Aries and I have a Taurus Sun but it's in the 1st House conjunct Jupiter. Excessive war?

I'm sorry your mother was so pushy. Mine would say sometimes (and actually still does) I should be a singer but it was rather causal. I used to voluntarily sing at school and I enjoyed it. I drew a lot when I was a kid too. I was known in my kindergarten for being able to draw princesses who actually resembled humans I should've charged the brats for every picture haha.

Regarding my audio spectacles, I would make a comedy out of them. Dat Sag in me Perhaps I came up with a "shopping show" because of my Moon in the 2nd.

I always drew princesses too. Mine looked like medieval ones from Shakespeare with pointy hats and veils on them. My favorite thing to draw were flowing dresses and veils probably because of puppets on Captain Kangaroo. There used to be a skit about a King with Princesses and it was my inspiration.

I used to write my own fairy tales, almost always with the same theme: girl, possibly girl with boy, is lost in the dangerous wilderness having to escape nasties to get home. I believe I was inspired a bit by the books I read, and I also had a habit of going into the woods to practice minor survival skills (like build my own fire pit, turning a stick into a compass if the sun is out, etc, and I also eagerly learned to sew, another useful skill in my stories) which was probably a mix of preparing for my own journey home and a mix of fond memories being in the woods with Granny as we'd collect berries for pies, and maybe just to pretend I wasn't living where I was (which was NOT home to me, even if it was my legal parents).

The one that I was really proud of, and also part of an assignment of retelling a classic fairy tale in which the villain is just misunderstood, was where I rewrote Vasilisa the Beautiful as Vasilisa a sorceress who learned from Baba Yaga and she was the one to murder her family with a skull lantern (rather than Baba Yaga "tricking" her into it) and then she used magic to seduce the tsar and then go after Baba Yaga who was the only one who could stop her. All worshiped the beauty of their witch queen while hating the kindly Baba Yaga who had to flee into the wilderness (though she rode her hut of chicken legs) and she helped the orphans of those killed by the tyranny of the beautiful witch queen and her magically enslaved tsar. In retrospect I believe Vasilisa was my vain mother who bragged of power she had over others and Baba Yaga my grandmother, and Granny's was where my home was while Mom was able to take me away and destroy that life.

Astrologically I'd say it's a mix of 5H (Leo) Sag, the love of travel and optimism when things seem bleak (Sag Uranus would especially love putting a new twist on things), my Jupiter Scorpio that was trying to make sense of the sitch I was in and perhaps work some magic on my behalf, Cappie Lilith vigilant for dangers, and Libra on the Scorpio cusp stellium liked the ideas, alternative viewpoints, and creativity.

I also loved getting up early in the morning, sometimes the twilight before dawn, and going out away from people to play by myself (the woods, before they were cleared for more development, could be too dark when the sun wasn't yet present, and I got bit by a spider that hurt because I stumbled into its web in the dark, and that scared me), which was Sag love of exploring outside, Libra seeking escape from disharmonious influences, and Scorpio seeking privacy.

And though it was a rare treat I LOVED going to the beach (usually Galveston). My favorite game was to let the currents pull me (sometimes by body, but also by floating on something), swim back to shore, and find my parents (or whoever I was with) and repeat. Gods, I so much hated the jellyfish! But not enough to stay out of the water. Seems obvious that was my Sag stellium at work.

Jellyfish (I'm pretty sure the first girl who speaks was actually stung by a man-o-war, and they're not true jellyfish and their stings get a different treatment, and I've been stung by those before, hate it!) in Galveston:

Drawing, acting, writing -Sun conjunct Venus, Leo rising

making up stories/characters with toys, acting out dramatic tragedies with said toys

-Pluto opposite Sun and Venus? Sun sextile Neptune, Juno square Neptune

Role playing with other kids and making up characters etc
Our little stories were pretty sophisticated and sounded like Greek legends
I also had a victim/saviour complex as a kid, and would make someone act as the damsel in distress so I could save them and vice versa lol (I still have said complex today but shhh)

-Juno square Neptune, Mars sextile Chiron
Pluto square or opposite literally every planet, Moon in Scorpio

There was always a villain theme, usually an authority figure to save said 'damsels' from

-Pluto square Saturn

I liked climbing (idk, aries moon?), building tents and making hideouts under the tables/beds.. or behind the wardrobes..etc... or in any place that was dark and looked relatively cozy - stellium in the 12th house ???

I used various things such as chairs, stuffed animals, pillows...etc.. as "pillars" and threw blankets on them to make the roofs. I made "doors" n "windows" and all... After making sure that everything was secure I'd move my toys n books in n pretend that I was in a new "home".

And I liked growing moss (??) Idk, cap placements ? I tried to grow the longest, thickest, softest beds of moss haha. I love moss, so soft and velvety.

Even now sometimes I still feel the desire to "hide" under the bed, like "Oohh how cozy..."

I have a little tent in the bedroom. It feels nice to curl up in it. Reminds me of when I was little lol.

I used to curl up into a sheet and pretend that I'm in a space rocket that is slowly going down because there would be no fuel left and then all those booomm booom. The bed was a mess.

It's amazing how different my mind was back then, damn school sucks all emotions and joyness out of you.

The only way to explain it is my Aries sun. All those boooooooooooooooom things.

definitely like running through the forest and just finding trees to climb, playing baseball and something we called gun wars where we would pretend to shoot each other with toy guns lol.

i attribute any sports to mars in the 5th, im really competitive when it comes to sports. sun in aries too, always trying to be the best at things lol and pushing myself to the limit.
