Like I find it interesting people are like.I'm a hardass because I'm irish and my girlfriend is a jew so she's really emotional I'm like..... okay.. So like how does that connect with astrology?

All I know is that the Irish I have met ARE hardasses. They LOVE money, they work so hard for it. They ALWAYS love social gatherings, well the ones that don't like the amount of alcohol they end up drinking still go to gatherings (knowing they'll drink a little too much) because they say it's the culture.I went to an Irish bar here, it was called O'Flannigans or something and everyone was having a great social time just drinking and chatting. BUT a partner's friend was an amateur boxer and went to Ireland to have a bout. Well, he said even after 20+ amateur fights, he's NEVER been hit as hard as the Irish opponent hit. He said they're the heaviest hitters while still being the same weight division. I believe it. An Irish guy here, Steve, was at a bar with his Irish friend and they were sitting at the bar. A couple Kiwi (New Zealanders) sat down next to them, everything was fine at first. Although, Steve's friend suddenly felt something wet on his leg and looked down. One of the Kiwi guys was ******* on the bar and his leg!  Steve's friend grabbed the guy by his collar and pulled him up close to say "You think we're soft huh? Do we look soft to you!?" The Kiwi guy just shrunk and his friend pulled him away. It's in the blood is the right term for this. I think it's more an attitude and your DNA has your history written in it. Although, that isn't to say that the culture you actually grew up in isn't going to have significant impact on your behavior too! Those two Irish guys grew up in Ireland so it makes sense why they're very Irish. You have to remember too that Ireland is still a dangerous place. Steve was very touchy (not as touchy compared to other Irishmen though) about it and said that as a child it was completely normal for a helicopter to land on your playground and guys in black jump out carrying automatic weapons. The Jewish though, I've never met anyone that has told me they were Jewish before so I don't have any anecdotal evidence about that. IP: Logged |

Lol I'm a mix of a variety of European ancestry but mostly French... and for whatever reason I really do enjoy and can identify with a lot of aspects of French culture. I love French films with all their dark and twisted storylines (I also share a love for excessive amounts of wine and chocolate lol). Anyway, I guess the chart for France has a Cancer moon widely conjunct my Asc and opp my Sun I was told by a reader here actually that I had a past life in France where I was a woman who dressed kind of like a man which was unusual for the time lol... I wish I actually had past life memories or knew more about all that though IP: Logged |

I 'm heavily mixed but for the most part when I say I have some French blood in me people tell me that's why you're skinny.
I bet France has Saturn conjunct ASC.

this may not be astrologically related but; as an actor i have studied the irish as a nation and studied "typical" irish behavior and there is definitely a certain hardassness to it, in the best ways. you dont want to mess with an irishman. even the way they carry themselves, chin in the air, always ready for a challenge.

I'm just going off the chart from astro.com for when it was "officially established" but even that gets complicated since there are multiple dates so idk how accurate that really is. According to this chart France has Sag Saturn in 9th but it does have Aries Asc 20 degrees

The chart of France makes a lot of sense. MC ruler is in Sagittarius and what's France is known for; the highly reliable airplanes. And the sun conjunct mercury in libra that's why everyone thinks our language is classy.IP: Logged |

Punctuality could be Saturn/mars or Saturn/mercury too. The chart has mars square Saturn.
Was that the only thing that made sense to you?
Also I always had the impression japan has an air sun? Probably aqua.

I think it would be interesting to get the "average drinker" from Ireland (supposedly even more hardcore than the rest of the UK for drinking!), Australia, and Russia together for a drinking contest. But it would probably end in a brawl before a winner could be declared. IP: Logged |

I've met a lot of Russians but none that grew up in Russia so dang, I don't know if Russians can hold there own really. I'm currently in Australia and from the people I know, I'd rank Irish first and then Aussies. Aussies would give it a good fight though! IP: Logged |
