I noticed a connection with Venus and books since traditionally they use to be a luxury and a source of entertainment and pleasure!

Venus in Scorpio in the 10th, ruling the 10th and 5th, conj. Jupiter and trine Saturn, square Moon.

Hard to pick a singular favorite, I really enjoy science fiction, namely Michael Crichton, Xenogenisis is a really good trilogy that I recently started.

Venus in Leo (10th house), wide conjunct Mars/MC, opposite Moon in Aqua, square Neptune in Scorpio (T-square).

I don't read as much as I should but the books I found great reads were "American Psycho", "Perfume", "We Need to Talk About Kevin" "The Lovely Bones" (the last two much better as books than the subsequent movies). Also some classics which I read from school: "Pride & Prejudice", "The Mayor of Casterbridge", Shakespeare's "Othello".

I like interesting or intriguing/dramatic plots and situations, and a concise writing style that grips you (Brett Easton Ellis, who wrote American Psycho, is good at that).

I also like to read spiritual or philosophical stuff, occasionally new age and the odd biography if I'm interested in someone famous. I'm not a science type but Bill Bryson's "Brief History of Nearly Everything" is a good read and informative. As a kid I liked "The Black Stallion", horsey or animal stories. If something has a unique theme and is well-written, then I'll probably enjoy it.

LMFAOOO yaaaaaas AIL..
I feel like we would be good friends irl.

In my english lit class I had to do a oral report on why I choose Lolita and how it's effected me etc etc and basically....my professor was like that was the most provocative oral presentation I ever heard.....

My topic was centered around sexuality.
I talked about ever since I was like 5 I use to have dreams about silhouetted figures holding each other in this tube..
talked about freud's psychosexual development.

Mainly because when I was about 11 I was really fascinated by my body and how soft and beautiful it was and one day after cleaning up after the beach I was just exploring my body and my uncles friend caught me and just stared and I stared back while continued to explore
and for like months I would sort of tease him... and he ended up moving away LOL..

when I was 14 my gym teacher would watch me change and honestly I kinda enjoyed it the power I had over my "elders"
I always use to get away with everything in that class I use to skip and do whatever..

and after I read Lolita I always wondered what my life would be like if I was more bold.. even though I was 11 and pretty unaware of sexuality I knew it was not right..
I mean yeah it's creepy but it's a different because I was in that situation and regardless of my age I was still me.

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" ---- Alice - Lewis Carroll

You're asking too much of me if you want us to list just one...

I have favourite /authors/ and many books I love.

Here's a few...

Three Tragedies (Hamlet, Macbeth, King Lear)

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through The Looking Glass

The Vampire Chronicles (Interview With A Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of The Damned) - I can't wait until she releases this new one, I'm dying for an update on Gabrielle~ <3 *stoked*

Battle Royale (none of that Hunger Games crap!)

Hiroshima Notes

1. William Shakespeare
2. Lewis Carroll
3. Anne Rice
4. Koushun Takami (trn: Yuji Oniki)
5. Kenzaburo Oe (trn: David L. Swain & Toshi Yonezawa)

4th House Sagittarius
VENUS (15°42'28") : *Ras Algethi* (15°55'7") S.Node (15°21'40"D) Nonna (15°3'37") Charybdis (15°14'25") Illapa (15°44'21"Rx) Klymene (15°50'15") Foros (15°43'23") Tigerlily (15°16'25")

(this is a short list... I want to include Homer, Swift, Austen, Dickens, Alcott, Berendt, Byron, Hodgson Burnet... and many others. But, despite all that. I am not much of a reader these days. ; ;

trivial aspects:
Venus cnj Uranus, Venus trine Eris-Pholus, Venus trine (H)Priapus, Logos, Venus square Mizar and Alcor (Ursa Major), and a few other curious lil things in the 1st, square 7th Pars-Abundantia, Quetzalcoatl, Siva and Mesopotamia, Venus Qd Dante, Pleiades, Chiron and MC - and other things...

Venus here is peculiar... always finding beauty in the odd & macabre, she's inconstant, and appreciative of a broad array of arts in various styles. rules 2nd, and 9th house exalt Moon. She's weak in my chart, yet very loud, probably due to the SN conjunction.

My 4th H. Venus in Leo squares my ASC and Saturn (Venus is the elbow of a t-square since they're opposite each other) and trines Neptune.

I could never pick one book! I can barely narrow it down to a few. Pride & Prejudice has been my favorite for the longest but I love George Eliot's Middlemarch just as much. I'm currently reading Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. It's absolutely amazing and will likely join that list when I finish reading it.

Great choices! Not enough people read Hardy these days. I wonder if people with Venus in Leo aspecting Saturn and Neptune are especially prone to enjoying 19th Brit Lit.

I love history too and that's definitely one of the best bios I've ever read. I'd also highly recommend Stella Tillyard's Aristocrats to anyone who enjoyed Georgiana.

5H Sag Venus-Neptune

There are so many books that I loved at the time but have no burning desire to re-read.

Favorite fiction from my teen years:

From my 20s:

30's:

I hardly ever read fiction anymore. Also, I think my Scorpio NN and 8th house moon have definitely affected my choices.
