I'm trying to understand a specific configuration: Saturn conjunct Midheaven exact (and SN) forming a perfect cross with the ASC/DSC axis.Saturn also squares Sun and Pluto. Any insight greatly appreciated!

The Vertex/Antivertex axis is involved too, sitting on ASC/DSC.IP: Logged |

Maybe it means that this person makes rules for themselves (Saturn) regarding the kind of image/person they want to portray and be (self-image MC axis), and it requires a lot of discipline regarding learning from personal relationships and personal interactions. I think the fact that it is Saturn means that if you work steadily (and give yourself lots of patience) you can achieve the goals that you want despite potentially feeling pressure from others vs. your own high standards for yourself... It's not very easy. There's Always something that keeps you from being your(true)self. It's like you analyse everything before it comes out or leaves your mouth as if you're extremely aware of what other people may or could think .. and well, overanalyzing carries the big potention that your time is up and so you haven't said or done what you wanted to say or do which can be pretty frustrating.. and this mainly in the area of work/groups. With this aspect I think it's very important to find or do something you rrrreally like.. something in which you can be truly creative, in which you become more one with your instinct or spontaneous Self. I also have gem Saturn exactly square my virgo ascendant. Although saturn is in the 10th, 8 degr. away from my MC. My Moon is btw at 16'31 Scorp Probably the above is even more pronounced with Saturn on the NN. IP: Logged |

Thank you, rorrr and mir. Mir, I assume you speak about the Sun/Saturn square. What about this Saturn (which is conjunct SN, not NN) on MC exactly squaring ASC/DSC and Vertex/Antivertex axis? Any thoughts?IP: Logged |

No, I was really speaking about Saturn square the asc here. Something like.. being constantly aware of "how" to express yourself to the outside world. And that's also what I called overanalyzing. The ascendant is how you express yourself to the outside world and with a Saturn square to it not that easy as it's suposed to be. Easier to handle when you can be your creative Self.. as all we can do with our heart makes us more spontaneous without being too much focused on "how to express"... I really think that's the key to make this aspect more bearable. IP: Logged |

Yes, I agree. And what you said about the creative side is a great insight. It's just that Saturn here is connected not just with the ASC, but it connects ASC/DSC, Vx/Avx, MC/IC and NN/SN. As if when you activate Saturn, you activate the whole chart. I'm not yet clear about how to interpret this. And the fact that NN/SN and MC/IC are reversed: SN conjunct MC, NN conjunct IC.
