Topic: Have you ever met your soul-mate, break up then got back together?

It's exactly as the title says. I learned literally like 2 or 3 hrs ago that the guy I was dating and broke up with was my soul-mate..or at least we had indicators, we had every single one of them actually, node conjunct moon being one of them. BUT we also had the abuse/victim aspect too..anyway I also just learned we broke up the first day of his NN/pluto transit. Um so anyway what I'm getting at is..have you guys ever met your soul-mate or one of them and somehow you guys were split apart but then found your way back to one another?I had been perfectly fine and really had no feelings regarding our break up until it hit me a few days ago and I started to miss him terribly and dreaming about him that I decided to investigate..and sure enough he was my soul mate..or one of them at least. I don't know if I necessarily want to get back together..because I'm not even sure if that would work..but I def can see us being friends. I feel like we still have unfinished business and can still learn from each other. Perhaps we had to break up because he and I had some things to do that would otherwise be difficult to do in a relationship as complex as ours. I'm speaking in regards to personal growth and dealing with pain. Well this is what I'm feeling in my heart anyway. Any experience? IP: Logged |

Umm yes. Just the other day. I did a thread in Soul Unions about it. Lost touch for 14 years through circumstances beyond our control (neither of us wanted to end it). I found him on FB recently and sent him a message and it seems that although we've both moved on in our lives, our feelings for each other haven't. I'm happy to just stay friends with him though. I'm not looking for a relationship right now. And we live in different countries so that would be difficult anyway. If I broke up with a person, whether I felt they were a soulmate or not, I would be very wary of trying again with them. In my experience it doesn't work the second time either.  IP: Logged |

Thank you. The email I sent him stated that while I know we may not ever go back to knowing each other in the capacity we did before, I feel it in my heart we can be friends & still learn & grow with each other..as friends. Basically I miss having him in my life & I guess it took me 2 mos to realize that. IP: Logged |
