I was just wondering… I got this very cool star chart app, and whatever direction I point my iPhone it shows the stars I'm looking at - and also the constellations. So do you think it is possible to learn anything about astrology with this app? Like Now I can see that jupiter looks like it is in gemini, and the moon looks like it's in leo? IP: Logged |

That's because the western astrology system is not based on constellations, which were only adopted as the names for 30 degree sections of the sky for which the sun passed through at the time, the meanings associated with western interpretations for these signs are associated with the seasons and aligned with the equinox/solstices, the positions that you see on the map, with the planets relative to the constellations as they are today, are reflective of the sidereal system IP: Logged |

I have an Iphone and I have Celeste and Iphemeris. Celeste doesn't seem to have a lot of features but Iphemeris is pretty decent.------------------ http://astrologicallyyours.com/ IP: Logged |

wait what… so what I see on the map is false or not up to date or? Don't really know what you mean?:S I have checked it and the planets fits… it shows the moon and mars exactly where they are… but the constellations are false? IP: Logged |
