What does it mean to have Sun as a chart ruler?

What in your words does House 3 represent (I've read all of the ones online)....

The Sun in our chart shows where and how we like to shine, and pour out our creative energies into for the world for others to see. The position of our Sun represents our core sense of identity and purpose (mission) in the natal chart. If we fail at things connected with the sun's symbolism our egos can really take a hit. If we succeed at these things we are simply glowing, and feel 'alive' with vitality.

With Leo on the Asc you would be the type of person who always likes to have a 'muse' in your life that gets you passionate and excited. Leo's like to have some type of focus for their creative energy. They like to be 'in love' with something or someone... This can be a person (love interest, child), a topic, or a project of some kind.

I also have Venus and Uranus (conjunct Sun) in that house...I'm wondering what words describe that house...

I know it's communications, short trips, neighborhood, siblings...but that doesn't really describe the house enough for me...any other descriptions?
