I looked at my progressed chart and my mars, sun, mercury, are now in scorpio (normally in my natal they are all in libra, except mercury which is in virgo). My venus is now in Sagittarius (normally in natal it is in Libra), and my Jupiter is now in Taurus (in natal it is in Gemini). What does the progressed chart placements mean vs. the natal chart placements? IP: Logged |

The Progression of the Planets is a sort of winding of the Clock and a setting of the Pattern that occurred in the early days of your life.The way your life was set to unfold. It progresses from one state to another in a slowly unfolding fashion. From my experience, the most obvious of these are the Eclipses and the Planetary change of Direction. In some cases, it is as if some of the Planets had made a date to get together at some time in the future, and have their day. Others just glare at each other and play stalemate. The Natal chart is You, it is the way you were born. The other is a more transitory thing. (I'm getting tired of this Sign, we've done just about all we could there. Let's try Chinese this week; er, ah lets go Libra for a new experience, as Virgo is getting rather critical to my system.) IP: Logged |

But the transitory phase lasts a long time. For instance, in my progressed chart, Jupiter is in Taurus and will stay there. It will not go back to Gemini (natal Jupiter is retrograde) nor will it go into Aries. IP: Logged |

Thanks Ellyn! I don't want to think about other lives at this point...I am having enough difficulty with this one as it is. So, since my sun, moon, mercury etc. are progressed in scorpio, does this mean I am a Scorpio? Or am I still a Libra? I would definitely be happy with the Jupiter in Taurus. IP: Logged |

You were born with a Uranus/North Node Conjunction. It is in the Ninth House.That's an Exalted Uranus, mind. You remember how I told you the Planets sometimes set up a meeting time? Well, most of those Scorpio Planets have done just that, you are probably experiencing a huge shifting paradigm in that area. It's also very close to that Eclipse point, so it's been set off for the last year or so. With the Vertex setting off your Sun and Pluto, and the Moon/Anti-Vertex Opposite, the electrical impulses must be wreaking havoc with your central nervous system, if it is anything like mine was.
