This is an observation that I have made- and correct me when you believe it inaccurate.It is a theory.Sun good aspects with Asc endows one with a clear direction and self belief.Confidence and faith in one self is high.They naturally gravitate to the leadership position as well as the center of attention.
Example: Hulk Hogan
Sun harsh aspects with Asc endows one with a big,sensitive and false ego and an explosive temper.One often doesn't like to be questioned and can be jealous of attention bestowed on others. They always want to be the center of everyone's attention.
Example: Adolf Hitler
Moon good aspects with Asc endows one with a caring nature and an affectionate disposition.They are empathetic, expressive and demonstrative.
Example: Diana Spencer(Sextile Aspect)
Moon harsh aspects with Asc can make one seem pretentious with empty/meaningless gestures.Over-sensitivity and defensiveness is also likely. The sympathetic nature seems shallow.
Example: Saddam Hussein.(Opposition)
Mercury good aspects with Asc can make one very open to converse, well articulated and well versed.They like to listen more than talk.
Example: Ricki Lake. Mercury conjunct Asc.
Mercury harsh aspects with Asc can make one seem critical,judgmental and forcing own opinion others.They talk more than listen.
Example Bill Cosby(square)
Venus good aspects with Asc endows one with natural charm and "ease" in the company of women.They do favours for free.
Example: Billy Crystal. Asc conjunct Venus
Venus harsh aspects to Asc(opposition/ square) makes one seem like they are trying too hard to be nice. Like they are "fake" and being social does not come naturally to them.They expect a favour for a favour.
Example: Mick Jagger (Square)
When Mars sits on the Asc or makes good aspects with the Asc, it endows the individual with assertiveness, a "self" thinking attitude and daring.They like the company of men.
Example: Queen Latifah. Mars is conjunct Asc by 5 Degrees.
If Mars sign forms a harsh aspect to the Asc(opposition or square), the individual may seem like they have a chip on their shoulder and a score to settle.
They may come across too competitive and be "sore losers". They may want to be taken too seriously.
Example: Steven Seagal.
Jupiter on the Asc endows one with an open-minded attitude, enjoyment of others and moral character.
Jane Fonda: Jupiter conjunct Asc.
Hash aspects of Jupiter to Asc can make one seem self-righteous, opportunistic, overly presumptuous of others and with a questionable moral character.
Example: Woody Allen.(square)
Good aspects to Saturn and the Asc endows one with a serious, dedicated and ambitious disposition. They don't like to talk about it but "be" about it.
Example:Anthony Hopkins(sextile)
Harsh aspects to Saturn endows one with acute sensitivity to criticism, feeling "not good enough" and like the work is never done.They are often heavily discouraged by setbacks(even if they don't show it).
Example: Hilary Clinton(Square).
Sometimes you think of a celebrity that exudes the qualities mentioned and you see that it is not always close aspects made to the Asc, but the signs are opposites , squaring or the same nonetheless.
I wonder if we place too much emphasis on Degrees?
