Topic: Vedic Astrology: Venus in Cancer, Leo and Virgo - unreliable lovers?

Ok, so according to this video/astrologer,
it is unwise to marry those who have Cancer, Leo or Virgo Venus, unless their mercury or jupiter conjuncts its Venus (According to this guy, even if their mercury or jupiter conjuncts Venus, its still a pretty bad idea to have a relationship with them)
This video is a really bad news for me because, all the women I ever attract or come across are Leo or Virgo Venuses.So, I was wondering if anyone can offer disclaimers/counter-arguments to this theory This video was somewhat a confidence killer for me because, it has made me wonder if all those Venus in Leos and Virgos that I came across were simply... well i do know a cancer venus and she was a cheater in relationships and my one bestfriend has venus in leo moon scorpio he cheats in his relationships and i know another girl whos venus is in virgo and she cheated on her bf a lot IP: Logged |

Vedic astrology has it's own rules and I have no idea why they picked these particular Venus signs.In Western astrology, people with a lot of mutable influence can be disinterested in commitment and very casual about love & sex. Leo and Cancer Venus is a strange selection. I mean... They're two of the least likely to cheat - if anything.. at least in Western astro. IP: Logged |

Well this is concerning the siderial zodiac so you'd need to look at the siderial Venus position and not the western one.Also, marriage is not dumb. It serves a valid purpose for humanity. The species has to procreate ya know. And this is best done when there are two loving committed parents there rear the children. Single parents do the best they can, but in general it's better to have both parents (provided their relationship isn't completely messed up). If someone chooses to not marry that's their personal business. But that doesn't mean the marriage is 'dumb' overall. IP: Logged |

Thank you Odette! I thought that those three signs were pretty random especially Cancer and Virgo venus. I know several Virgo venus people one has been married almost 30 years! I have Cancer venus and have cheated on someone and never plan to. I don't believe in it. IP: Logged |

Im a venus in virgo and the only time i ever cheated was when i found out that the guy i was with for over a year had cheated on me with at least 5 different girls and wanted a little payback. I am extremely loyal though if im treated right. My bf is a venus in leo, i hope he hasnt cheated on me, HOWEVER, his twin brother is also venus in leo and he cheated on his fiance all the time.. Even though theyre now married he still cheats on her. I had another ex that was also venus in leo and he cheated on me with his ex. Also, make sure youre not confusing a Western venus with Vedic astrology.
Vedic has different degrees, so they might not even be actually be the sign you are comparing them to.
And I think that if these signs are likely to cheat, its all because they have their own reasons.
Venus is debilitated in Virgo.
There is a lot of self doubt in ones looks, wants to be wanted - and will resort to not so flattering ways to receive the attention
I just dont think these people ever feel good enough about themselves.
I think that cancer venus can probably be a little smothering to the partner - or maybe the partner can feel used by the cancer venus
Maybe Leo Venus can just be too self-centered/glamorized or maybe competitive with the partner for a lot of people.
Idk, it all depends on a few things if they are "unreliable lovers"
Degrees, what planets are interacting, the house ... and of course what your chart says you like

Ernst Wilhelm (the guy in the video you posted a link to) uses the Tropical Zodiac anyway. So he is referring to Venus in Cancer, Leo and Virgo in Western Astrology, not Vedic. He just uses the Vedic system, that's all. IP: Logged |

I checked his website and clicked on the free chart calculator. (his website link is in the description of his video). His chart calculator never gave me a choice as to which zodiac I wanted to use, it automatically gave me my Tropical placements. I also remember hearing that he uses the Tropical Zodiac somewhere before. IP: Logged |

I personally don't agree with his methods. First of all he doesn't use traditional Vedic rules as he tweaks them and uses the tropical zodiac. Secondly, I tried one of his reports once because I found the things he said worthy of inspection and what I got was a 3 page report that literally could've applied to anyone. I don't believe in reports or interpretations that can apply to anyone. If a report is to be taken seriously it has to mention things that apply to YOU but NOT to most people. If you give your report which sounds like you and your life to a friend or a family member they should be able to read it and say- "This is NOT my life at all".I'm sure he's passionate about his subject and he may be a good astrologer for some people, but I personally don't agree with his methods. As for venus in virgo... Venus is debilitated in Virgo so it's true that these people can have trouble in love life, especially males with this placement, but it does not mean that they are not marriage material. And since he uses the tropical zodiac most of the people who he claims has venus in virgo actually have it in leo anyway. Venus doesn't do all that well in Cancer, but for the most part the 'bad' thing about this placement is that people with it often tend to be taken advantage of by others. They have a penchant for giving their friendliness and affection to people who are not worthy of it. They do this without realizing it a lot of the time.

Wait.. how can his report apply to anyone?
He uses some sort of point system to determine whether certain individuals are compatible with you or not I do agree with you about the venus in virgo and the fact that he tweaks the system a little too much though. But.. I am not too sure about the video you shared :s anyways I've come to assume that... Venus in leo is best matched with Venus in cancer, when looking at venuses alone. I think those two would be highly challenging to any other signs... Although, I have no personal experience with Venus in Cancer :s IP: Logged |
