..He died every day to let her breathe.. In mythology the moon is the wife of the sun.. And I was wondering since the Moon is connected to the sign of cancer and the sun is connected to Leo, if those two signs can actually do we'll together. What is your guess? Can a Cancer deal with a Leo and can a Leo stand a Cancer? I see around me quite a lot cancer-leo relationships but in most cases they share placements or their ascs conjunct each others sun ect IP: Logged |

My mom is a Leo sun and my dad is a cancer sun and they have been together for 19 years. I haven't really looked at their synastry though. IP: Logged |

In my opinion, yes... Going metaphorically: Leo wants to be the hero and to protect others, Cancer loves to be protected and likes to appear helpless. Leo wants to feel like a... lion king haha and Cancer knows well how to make someone feel gorgeous. Of course Leo wants to shine among everyone and Cancer will be jealous.. But leo will like that. Then often Leos have some placements in Cancer and viceversa, which make the two closer. I as a Cancer never had a relationship with a Leo, but usually I like them. My dad was Leo and my mother is Cancer. They separated after 25 years but never divorced. My mum receives his insurance from his work now he is dead. They remained on very amicable terms and my father supported my mother despite being separated, with things like health and financially. They always shared a similar sense of humour and my father totally respected my mum and my father was like a rock to my mother (although they were like chalk and cheese and probably would never be able to live with each other again). They had a weird relationship really - somewhat lacking in passion but good friends and cared for each other deeply. My mother always says "he was a far better friend than he was a husband". @OP wow what a romantic way to describe such a relationship. This is a classic combo of Yin/Yang energy at work together, with either gender being able to take on the roles. Kiss of the Sun and touch of the Moon IP: Logged |

I dated a Leo sun/Aries Moon for 7 years. We also lived together. It was extremely volatile where the good times were very good but the bad were BAAAD. We are now friends and I think, or know, that he would do anything to help me still. We have known eachother for 17 years now. He wanted to get married but I said no and that was the beginning of the end...he also felt I was too dark and cold for him, too aloof. He is now married to a Scorpio and that is equally volatile.I am a Cancer sun/Cap Moon with almost all planets in 11H. IP: Logged |

I think it could work, especially if Leo is a male. If Leo is patient enough to play mind games,, and Cancer isn't too sensitive then yeah, why not. But I think Leo needs to have some Water in them, or Cancer some Fire or Air. One of my best friends is a Leo female married to a Cancer man. At the beginning they had problems, because he was on/off all the time. He even broke off their engagement, which almost resulted in her being deported back to China (was a scary and difficult time). Now they are married and have a beautiful baby girl. As for me (I'm Leo Sun with 4 planets in 4th House + tons of asteroids), I tend to attract Cancers, even though I don't meet that many. I briefly dated one Cancer 3 years younger when I was 21 Then I found out he didn't quite broke off with his gf, and all 3 of us separated (I'm still friends with that Pisces girl) There is 1 Cancer girl I know, who seems to be almost obsessed with me. Even my bf noted that haha She sends me all these pictures on my FB wall, etc. It kinda freaks me out, though, but I find it cute. She is 8 years younger, than me, so perhaps she sees me as this Lion King lol Btw, I'm a Leo Sun, my bf is Cancer Moon!!! Doesn't it fit the myth perfectly? (My Moon is in 4th House as well) IP: Logged |

Two good friends of mine, a Leo who I remain close to today, and a Cancer who I no longer associate with, once dated and that's how I met my Leo friend. They dated for about a year, then broke up, then dated for about another year. I would say their dynamic worked really well. Leo offered the support Cancer needed, although Cancer never seemed to be satisfied with anything. Cancer went on to lie towards the end of their relationship, claiming Leo raped her and beat her. Became good friends with Leo when I found out none of that was true. Cancer ended up cheating on Leo, which Leo was willing to look over. When Leo found out about the rape/batter lies, that was the last straw. With that being said, Cancer has a lot of psychological issues that she needs to sort through. I don't think it should represent Cancers.. I just think she's a bit sick, ya know? Before she went downhill, their relationship seemed to be quite admirable. Trust, honesty, love, passion, but above all else.. They were best friends. Can't go wrong there. Or ya can. IP: Logged | |
