Venus synodic cycle takes 8 years to complete (8 is a Venus-number as Leeloo just reminded me in the other thread. Thank you.), and during this time it forms a pentagram-pattern in the sky (though it is not close in orb, the points usually fall between a sextile and quntile from each point to the next).

Robert Blashke and also Arielle Guttman wrote about that. Guttman has a whole book dedicated to the Venus-Star-Point, meaning the last exact conjunction of Venus and Sun PRIOR to your birth. Like the last prenatal ecclipse it is said to have karmic implications, but in the case of the Venus-point, mostly in terms of romantic relationships.

Guttman determines now three different relationships that can form on that star, depending on your VSP, Twin flame star, karmic star and creative star.

Anyway, I had the idea now to check the whole chart for the time when the Venus-Sun-conjunction became exact (I mean down to the minute exact) before my birth, and at the place I was born.

In my case the chart proved to be quite interesting (and hello Leonardo DiCaprio? You seem to be my Venus-Star-point. LOL At least he has been born very close to it. ).

How do you determine the star base on your VSP, Ceri? I saw you mentioned that you have a creative star. The Yod on your chart looks promising, I think, especially pointing to 1st house, Vertex 7th near the release point forms a Boomerang Yod. And you have a whole bunch of 8th house, transformation love come to mind. Do you read it like a whole chart or by finding conjunction to your natal?

But i already see something that knocks me out. My Venus Star Point Sun-Venus EXACTLY conjuncts my soulmates Moon.

And MC/IC axes is exactly on my nodes, conjunct his ASC/DSC.

His Venus Star Point axes exactly conjunct mine! ASC/ASC and MC/MC!

My Venus Star EROS exactly conjuncts his natal PSYCHE right on my IC!

I suppose with Sun-Venus in the 12th house that is ultra karmic or spiritual.

Do we only count exact aspects? Nothing really aspects my VSP at 3 Virgo then. If you give me a 3 degree orb, I can notice that my VSP squares my natal Venus and start recounting all my failures in romance and pin them partly on that.

But I'm just wondering if these points will involve so many people that the synastry would be "diluted"?

So half my class in school were my Twin Star Mates and the other half were Creative Star Mates? That doesn't sound terribly special. I liked these people but calling them "Star Mates" feels like I'm going overboard.

Everyone born between Apr 6, 1977 and
January 22, 1978 will have their VSP on my Jupiter at 16 Aries. I wonder how to interpret that.

Also one corner of the pentagram was in early Aquarius for years, and I wonder if all those people who have their VSP in early Aqua would be partial to my 5 Aqua Mercury thinking?

Yes, I thought so, too. I mean I find it intriguing, the prenatal ecclipses and prenatal synodic cycles, but it seems to be valid for too many people to be specific.

That was actually the reason why I was taking the whole VSP chart into account (which gets personalized by using your birthplace) AND comparing it to the natal of another person.
Probably it is someone else`s natal that activates the VPS potential, especially through their very individualized astrological positions of Sun, Moon, angles, Vertex and Nodes (though the nodes are almost too general already).
The tighter the better obviously.

BTW you and Mr Sag are Twin Stars. His is on 2 Virgo I think (right on his on North Node), where it gets interesting is that his prenatal solar ecclipse is on 29 Leo. Both are also conjunct his true Lilith on 28 Leo, which - suprise, surprise- is opposite my true Lilith on 28 Aquarius. Seems like a bit of a "force-field" right there (and the true Lilith moves erratically, but quick)

K, I looked up my VSP chart following your example, and compared it to my husband's chart. Looks similar, where the planets are clustered.

Exact aspects, less than one degree:

His Neptune on VSP Uranus
His NN on VSP Eros

His Venus and Mercury conjunct VSP, but the orb is 2-3 degrees. Ditto for VSP Juno conjunct his sun! His Saturn on VSP Neptune (2 degrees).

If only I had the birth times of some of my exes...it might be telling.
