Like a normal dominant person more submissive but not in a bad way. Like letting a guy take the lead.Specifically when someone is prone to the opposite. IP: Logged |

I've heard that the moon person in synastry takes the submissive role to the Sun person. Not sure if that's true.IP: Logged |

In my relationship I'm the dominant one, though my natal chart says submissive all over it… and my boyfriend should be more dominant, but he is very submissive… We have sun-saturn double whammy, but my saturn squares his sun, so I think it makes me more the leader/authority-type in the relationship… we also got sun opposition moon, where he is the moon. This is the classical aspect that used to be between married couples because the moon is usually the mother and the sun the father. But in our relationship it's the opposite because I'm the sun:P And then we also got venus conjunction mars, where again kind of untraditionally I'm mars and he is venus. So really, the roles have switched in our relationship because I'm the dominant one and I'm just a girl. Natally he got moon-saturn, sun-mars, libra sun and sun, mercury and venus in 5th house which should be more dominant…. at least more than my virgo sun + mars in 4th house. It's funny that in general he is 5th house dominant (which is leo) and I am 4th house dominant (which is cancer) and cancer + leo couples are said to be traditional because the leo is comfortable with being dominant and cancer is obviously a lot more submissive…. So I would say that Sun, Saturn and Mars are generally the dominant factors in a relationship, where Moon, Venus and Neptune are more submissive…. IP: Logged |

Oh very cool! I definitely think when a moon is in the sun sign of another person that the sun sign naturally dominates the moon. For sure. I just recently started talking to a guy and I swear I'm like a helpless newborn with him. Like I let him make decisions etc that I never usually do. I seriously feel like a little baby. And in general I'm not like that at ALL. I'm Leo/Taurus/Scorpio rising so I'm a BOSS. And he's double mutable and he's in control? What? Virgo/sag/libra. The only two things I could MAYBE see why this is is Venus sextile Venus tight. His Venus is in Leo. Mine in Gemini. By roughly 1 and a half degrees. My moon conjunct his NN by 1 in my 6th? Conjunct my descendant. His sun conjunct my karma by 2 degrees? Mercury by 1? I'm telling you. It's dramaticly different how I am with him. Who knows if that's good or bad though IP: Logged |

Haha yeah but the synastry apparently has the last word! The moon person is just going to accept that sooner or later:P I don't like being the dominant one though, it's not something I have ever tried before…plus it is really untraditional that the girl is dominant At least you two got the normal roles in a relationship, so you are probably not going to protest too much!
