Which house and which planet runs the organizational side of life?

How do the different signs interact with these placements?

The 6th house rules mundane reality.

All the real life/boring issues we have to deal with on a daily basis- taking out the trash, working our jobs, eating our meals, cleaning etc.

Is Virgo strong in your chart? Virgos would find tidying and organising fun!

Virgo is my ascendant and there are some aspects but they don't really explain anything.

If I'm not mistaken venus signifies love, fun and enjoyment so that probably makes sense.

Where's your NN?

Aha! That explains it. Cafe Astrology say this about Virgo rising -

"You do everything skillfully with a fine sense of craftsmanship and precision, perfectionism, care and attention to detail. You are keenly observant and have an acute sensitivity to each and every thing in your environment; therefore, you attend to small things that others do not readily notice, the subtleties, the fine points. You fulfill your soul function through service, assisting and helping others, perhaps in a rather humble, understated, unglamorous way, and doing a job for its own sake rather than for personal recognition or glory."

You may have Mars aspecting your Asc to really make for a great organiser. What about Pallas?

Many Virgo Lagnas are the opposite of clean because they are such perfectionists that they subconsciously can't fathom 'how to do it all' so they just leave it messy the way it is. Virgos get easily overwhelmed because Virgos always see how much there is to be done and there's always so much to be done. They then subconsciously throw up their hands and say I can't possibly get this perfect/clean enough so I might as well not do it.

Because of this I personally think that Virgo Rising doesn't necessarily make you a clean person... but it does tend to make you suffer from perfectionism. How that perfectionism manifests however (manefesting in being messy because of the overwhelm or manifesting in being very organized) depends on other factors in the chart. Anyway that's the way I see it.

All the 6th house venuses I know love being neat or find beauty in their daily tasks. Sometimes they take a loonnnng time to finish these tasks!

So having a venus there is enuf

Heavy capricorn and virgo also like organization. Heavy Cappy people might not like cleaning but they see it as neccessity for a more efficient life. Although for this generation, capricorn planets conjunct neptune and uranus so that might change

If you have cancer mars, or heavy water in general, you might be messy.

I have noticed cap moons to require some degree of organization.

Thing is I don't like just cleaning for the sake of having a neat house. I like the process of doing those little things. Whenever I go to take out the thrash I imagine that I'm being followed by a bunch of bad guys and then I get an adrenaline rush and suddenly everything becomes out of the ordinary. If you get what I mean. I LIKE TO IMAGINE situations like these so maybe you are right about 6th house.

You're so weird. I'd be interested in knowing where your North Node/ Rahu is?

Hi All

I have North Node in Virgo and it conjuncts my Saturn in Virgo as well, both are in the 6th house!! I love to write lists and have things organized. The more organized I am, the more things tend to go my way. Unfortunately I married a Pisces with a north node in Leo... lets just say, doing chores is not his style.. .LOL. Good thing he married me!! I do all the domestic work most often, or else it doesn't get done. LOL.

Virgo rising venus 6er here.
Rahu in Pisces (7th)

I loooove clean and organized and lists (the lists keep me in task and give me visual confirmation of completed tasks).
I have discovered that my day won't start right if I wake up with last nights dishes in the sink.
But I loath laundry.
Having 3 other people in the house I'm trying to come to the realization it won't always be spotless, and that's okay.

So my life has turned into organized piles of messes

This is why I kept asking for people's NN. According to Vedic astrology priciples, someone with Rahu in the 12th will have an extraordinarily hard time keeping clean and organized. They also tend to fall into daydreaming and escapism very easily. They like to escape from the mundane reality of the world.

People with the opposite placement- Rahu in the 6th tend to seek their solice IN the mundane world. They don't need to escape from it to feel bliss. In fact they are often blissful when they have both feet on the ground living normal mundane life (ie chores, cleaning,- all the normal everyday stuff everyone else would rather not do.) People with Rahu in the 12th like your husband hate doing that stuff even more than most people. That's why it's considered the worst place for NN/Rahu to be. Rahu 6th house like you is considered the best placement for it.

But of coarse these are all vedic astrology laws and I'm not sure if you're using western placements. But hey, the vedic laws seem to be fitting anyway.

Well that goes that theory. lol.

If this is your western placement I think that puts your NN in the 11th or the 1rst... I always get confused with the movement of the Nodes. It seems having the ruler of love and enjoyment in the 6th is enough for you.

Wait a minute didn't you also say....

"Whenever I go to take out the thrash I imagine that I'm being followed by a bunch of bad guys and then I get an adrenaline rush and suddenly everything becomes out of the ordinary. If you get what I mean. I LIKE TO IMAGINE situations like these so maybe you are right about 6th house."

Did you read the part about how NN/Rahu in the 12th makes one fall into intense daydreams? I think the rule may be applying to you as well, but your venus in the 6th is making you apply them to the daily tasks.

This thread is fun because it's full of weird people who actually love to clean. All you people are WEIRD.

You must ride seahorses on a daily basis, or kill mermaids on a daily basis.

I'm not so sure, but I'm thinking 6th house. I have Pluto in Sagittarius in the sixth. Scorpio rules that house in my chart.

When I clean, I tend to be very nitpicky. I like everything spotless and it drives me mad when something is disorganized. But then I have Venus and Mercury conjunct in Virgo.

I have an unaspected virgo moon in 12th, I can be very tidy until I get overwhelmed or I can't keep up.
When that happens I break down n get depressed n can't even handle the thought of cleaning even a single dish, a load of laundry, or anything else...I just fall apart!

It's really hard because it feels like there is no balance. I should be able to do a little at a time and be ok.
