I disagree.

I don't think virgos ARE shallow, But I think they can come off as shallow/vain Because they are...
Well I'll use myself as an example.
I never notice anyone one else's physical flaws.
... My sister says, she never sees anyone else because she's too busy looking at herself.

I think Virgo is very self aware and to some people that can come off as shallow.

Libra or Leo influences.
A very shallow girl I worked with before had libra sun, with Leo Venus. Two planets mutually providing shallowness. Lol.

surprised no one mentioned Gemini.
But gemini is just logical about life which can be some what shallow if your not willing to look at life esoterically.

Gemini usually knows only a little bit about everything, but their attention is usually really short

But I wan't to add cancer too somehow, I think they are really mentally lazy especially women… every time I see someone with a lot of cancer influence (and yes including myself lol) they are usually extremely lazy when it comes to academical stuff… they like the simple life and their home lol

Libra Venus men make me laugh for shallowness. It's actually annoying because I attract them with my libra asc.

Ya..I read somewhere that virgo/libra/Gemini/leo placements can give a shallow outlook...or even ppl with lots of earth in their charts since they're all about materialism, sensory pleasures etc.
Is it true?

Shallow aspects would be a Mutable sign trait.

They're very adaptable and change their minds frequently.

In my opinion I think all humans are shallow, this isn't a astrology trait as much as a humanity trait. Some people may show it more than others but everyone is shallow in some unique way -- jobs, appearance, finance, family, hobbies, interests etc. it goes across the board. Especially since social networking became more prevalent, people are beginning to lose even more depth and understanding.

I also think all wars, discrimination, environmental, social issues all come from shallow thinking. If we really sat down and thought about things in depth, half the stuff that happens to the World would not have occurred.

Yeah this is true, but in a different context which will eventually lead to an inference that people who are not on the path to spiritual enlightenment (and beyond) are shallow....So, basically more than 95% of the people on this planet are shallow, Agreed.
But The context here is of a more apparent form of shallow, where you can clearly see something as shallow/superficial. Then again, that depends on the beholder and what he considers to be shallow/deep.
But in some cases it can be too obvious, which can give the person's actions/thinking/outlook/personality a 'Shallow' Label by people in general.
So wanted to see if there are any astrological explanations, which of course, there are.

Hmmm.....I don't think its just about the signs, surely placement of planets in houses plays a big role.

Being adaptable is not the same as being shallow.

Someone who is self aware and introspective is actually considered a deep person, unless your definition of 'self aware' is being self conscious.

I am a gem sun, and it can be true. I don't agree with the earth-dominant thing. I am one and also many of my friends. Earth gives grounding energy, a rocky personality, and sometimes I quote: are the very salt of the earth. Shalowness is def not smth of the earth dominant
