Yesterday i tought about this and i came to the conclusion that If signs are to have rulerships earth should definetly rule one of them.

However;

I don't really belive that planet's rule the signs as that would not make sense if we were to draw a chart for a person born far away an example could be a diffrent solar-system. The signs should be the same as they are not calestial bodies, they are decided by when the body in question is at a certain place, that is what decides the sign of a calestial body or point.

So to conclude my "theory" i think that signs are the same no matter where you are in the universe. And that signs are not ruled by planets.

Feel free to come with your own argument's for and against what you just read.

Moon/earth

Cancer.

You're welcome.

Btw the moon is still a satellite of earth if we were going far from the planet LIKE MARS the earth/moon would be in the same sign lol.

But I bet some old astrologers heads will explode when they hear this logic.

This is my theory on Earth's rulership:

Taurus - Venus & Earth

Venus being Taurus’s co-ruler, while Earth is it’s main rulers.

Since the Earth is opposite of your Sun sign, then your Sun sign is looking toward your Earth sign, and I have a theory that it's looking toward it to find security and stability (Taurus) to complement it's willpower and consciousness. (Sun)

Also, since Earth is opposite the Sun, it can mean your Earth is the building of your self meaning your Sun is your self, and you start to look toward your Earth for the guidance and transformation of your self. They are opposite from each other, so it's also like how opposite signs look towards each other.
Just like how the self needs to feel worthy, they look toward the Earth; which rules Taurus. So maybe that can give a reason why it can be associated with the 2nd House of self-worth. Because we try to become that, we try to become worthy in our own sense of self. The self gets inflated, (Sun) so it needs the Earth to ground it and show how much it's really worth.

Another way you can look at it is we're trying to build upon (the Sun) a better foundation (looks to Earth) to live on the Earth with other people.

(if the Earth can indeed have an astrological influence on us, which is why this theory can kinda complement that because if only planets around us only have an astrological influence, (Geocentric) then this helps bridge the gap because it isn't technically giving us the influence from afar, but rather the Sun and Earth are complementing each other, which is why they are the exact same degrees, but just opposite from each other. So one can automatically know their Earth sign from their Sun sign and do not need to look at a calculated chart or ephemeris, unlike other planets)

For example, I have a Virgo Sun and Pisces Earth, so I'm looking toward my Earth to learn to be more imaginative and intuitive rather than being so calculating and logical.
I'm trying to ground myself with a higher understanding of spirituality, imagination, creativity and intuition so that I can thrive on the right hemisphere of the brain (Pisces/Neptune/Jupiter) as I do with the left hemisphere of the brain. (Virgo/Mercury/Vulcan)
(Vulcan hypothetically ruling Virgo - Yes, I know that there's a 95% chance that it doesn't exist, and I have to agree for the most part)

Just like the Virgo/Pisces axis. Or however you personally interpret the Virgo/Pisces axis, (or any sign axis you're using for the Sun/Earth opposition) then that is how ones Sun and Earth work.

That could be one reason why Taurus Suns need to find security the most out of the other Sun signs, because their ruling planet; Earth, is opposing their Sun, so it’s like an even more significant and intense pull. (Earth in Scorpio)

I mean, if the Sun can rule over a sign, why couldn't the Earth as well, right?

Taurus is also the most earthiest of the earth signs, so it also seems fitting.

I find what Kerosene said made some sense that since moon is a satelite of earth, they would rule over the same signs and have somewhat the same energies, but as stated earlier i think the whole concept of rulerships ilogical as it could only apply to our solarsystem.

Hypothetically, say a person was born in another solarsystem(anywhere else than ours)
if we still used our planets as rulers over the signs, that's basically the same as saying that our solarsystem dictates astrology all over the universe(which atleast i don't think makes any sense).

Ive heard someone saying that if someone was born on another planet/solarsystem/galaxy they would have diffrent signs that have their own planetary rulers. however as i said the signs are not dictated by anything of which only exist in our solar-system(time and space) so that would be unessicairy.
