or it might be whatever planet is closest to the ascendent, the strongest angle of the chart

Themes involving that planet will be major for you, aspects to that planet will be amplified and play major roles in your life, and wherever that planet falls, house-wise, will also bey key themes/issues.

I'm also libra rising with pluto in the first. Therefore I have Venus chart ruler, with pluto very nearly on the ascendant.

Venus is in my 7th house. Relationships and love, beauty, blah blah blah--it all consumes me. It really does.
