Man I used to be so gullible. I trusted people way too much.

One of the bad things about being a good person with integrity is that you never see it coming when others who don't have these traits screw you over. Only two kinds of people can defend themselves against scumbags- Those who have been victimized enough by them to eventually be able to spot them... and those who secretly are scumbags themselves and are therefore immediately able to spot them as easily as their victims.
