..always mean infidelity? I've got my Venus (in Aries in the 12th house) square someone's Neptune.

The interpretation says potential infidelity or Neptune lying to keep me happy.. Just wondering if anyone's had this aspect before (as either Venus or Neptune) and wanted to share their experience.

Unfortunately I had my Neptune squaring my ex's 8th house Venus which is also in Aries. I never cheated on her or lied to her with ill intent but I did mislead her about something important. I was trying to protect her but in the end I just hurt her badly and I definitely wouldn't do something like that again. So I think Venus-Neptune in hard aspect tends to lead to feeling disillusioned, at least at the end of the relationship, even when you date someone who isn't a cheater or a liar. But I should mentioned we also had a t-square involving Neptune at the time we broke up it's not surprising we both wound up feeling disillusioned.

Is it the same in the composite? Don't got it in my synastry but in our composite we have sun, mercury and venus square neptune.. I have been with someone else since I met him but never told him, so I guess it's infidelity yeah
