I have moon in taurus in the third, along with mars in gemini. I think this placement means the native despises faking emotions and prefers to let it all out. When we are happy, we act happy. If we are mad or unhappy you will hear about it. Either way you know where we stand.

Aries moon in the 3rd - makes me quite curious. Animated speaker.

quote:
Rational thinking is affected by emotions and imagination, and there is on-going self-analyzing of the emotions.

frequent short trips and an urge to travel. They have a pronounced memory and minds filled with a tremendous reserve to facts, figures and insights.

must talk about emotions and find writing them down reduces the intensity, a simple few sentence conversation can reduce their anxiety considerably. In some cases the native may have difficulties sleeping because of an excessive cerebral activity, or could need fewer sleep hours than most

yes. quite true for me.

Can relate to these! There is a non-stop chatterbox inside my head. Am logical with work, but not with emotions. Also can see others' viewpoints (too) easily.

Unfortunately am not a good speaker so I tend to listen, but I absorb *a lot* when listening. So cannot stand superficial conversation or "YAY YAY"-ness, it's like mental junk food. Like it best when I gain some insight to the person or new knowledge, or when I get to say something and the person finds it meaningful.

This could also be the placement of a talented writer, they get the details across in stories vividly. Getting their point across to many readers is smooth for them. Communication paired with expressive emotions, great for journalism!

My best friend got a taurus moon in 3rd house, we communicate everyday through text messages, I'm a virgo so it seems like we both have a big need for communication… she really talks a lot in general, and she is actually studying journalism too! I think that really fit's her since she got so much to say! Really…talks like she won' ever stop but I don't mind haha

Cancer is on the cusp of the 3rd house-ruling all forms of communication; writing, speaking, reading, perceiving, listening etc.

This makes me a very sensitive, impressionable and "absorbing" person. It also makes my forms of communication very personal, my voice very comforting and tinged with emotion.

I have Moon in Cancer in 3rd house with transiting Jupiter also in the 3rd house.

I don't read or listen to anything that'll upset me emotionally. I don't take too kindly to a cruel word spoken and don't forget about it either.

I find it easy to express emotions other people may be feeling and often take great comfort and joy in reading books that are emotionally charged(in the positive sense of the word).

Any house 12th of itself becomes the loss of that house.

4th house is the natural house of the moon. Hence the 4th house represents peace of mind and the feeling of home. The 3rd house is 12th from the 4th house. Therefore generally speaking Moon in the 3rd is generally considered a not so good placement because it signifies the loss of mental security and peace of mind.

People with moon in the 3rd tend to worry a lot and they often lack peace of mind. They worry about their security in life. Their minds tend to be a bit scattered. If the moo is well placed they can communicate their emotions well.
