I'm grateful for the life I have and most of the time feel quite relaxed and happy (like now). When unfortunate things happen I'll feel down for a while. I don't feel down for long, probably from the moon trine jupiter. Moon square venus/uranus/neptune/saturn/asc IP: Logged |

I tend to go for a walk or play pickleball to help my mood when I'm down. I think I get a runner's high when I exercise. I tend to look on the positive side of things most times so there might be something to the moon/jupiter aspect. Mine is a moon conjunct jupiter though.IP: Logged |

I would say more happy than bad, but I can have my dark moods and melancholy -- I'm mostly water and air so it's bound to happen, I always over-think and I'm empathic so it's hard to distinguish why I feel the way I do sometimes.My aspects are moon square Pluto, moon square Uranus, moon conjunct mercury, moon trine Jupiter, moon sextile Ceres, moon inconjunct Neptune, moon quintile MC, moon semi-sextile Asc. Someone told me I try and see the optimism in every situation. Now, I will have a blue day every now and again. A day where I feel so sad for no reason. They are very few and far between. Moon in 8th

People always tell me I'm optimistic and that I always look a the bright side. I have Moon trine Jupiter. I think I'm generally happy, but I do have bouts where I'm not feeling all that great inside even though I may not show it. They usually don't last long though. IP: Logged |

Yea, unnaturally so, according to some. I have been mistaken for high and or drunk because I'm too hyper or uncontrollably giggly. As if I'd need to get high. Please. There's enough happiness, lack of self control and lack of situational judgement naturally created in my system to last at least a few decades. I have my 8th house, Scorpio and Capricorn influences. But it simply makes me appreciate happiness. Happiness was something I fought throughout my childhood to earn (sun conjunct saturn). It was something I had to teach myself. Life can be awful sometimes, but my awful phase ended when everyone else's began. Life has been awesome for several years now. Moon in libra in 6th opposite Jupiter in 12th. I'm a sag. I'm going to go off and jump around, dance and do some chores. IP: Logged |

Generally speaking, yes. My moon is in a Sag stellium with Mars, Uranus, Neptune, and at least one asteroid. I'd say my Scorpio Jupiter helps (and I think has brought me some astounding luck at times), too. When I was younger I had so much energy that I'd been told more than once that if someone didn't know me that they'd think I was on meth as even when I was still the energy in me was visibly waiting to be released, and I both talked and laughed easily. As I get older I find I'm less inclined to that but generally remain positive (but also cynical, that doesn't make me depressed, I keep a sense of humor about it just as Mark Twain did). IP: Logged |

I'm a very happy person. Always upbeat. I'm kinda generous. Simple things make me happy. Silly things like sharing food with my neighbours, playing with my son n his friends, etc. But I'm an energetic person and very curious by nature. N I have a very forgiving nature. Even though I have a short fuse(now n then) the positives null out the negatives.IP: Logged |

I think people who've had it hard can find it easier to enjoy the good and thus be happy than those who have been given everything they wanted. Those who have it so good feel entitled to such things, thus failing to appreciate them and also easily fall apart under hardship...or even just a loss of special luxuries or benefits they feel entitled to. I think I'm a bit manio-depressive, cause I can change my mood pretty fast and I'm very emotional in general.
I can wake up being extremely sad, then through the day it changes to extremely happy and when I wake up happy the next day, then I can feel all empty and depressed all of a sudden… it doesn't make sensePisces moon, oppositions sun and mars, square uranus, bi-quintile venus, square jupiter (9 degrees though so I don't know if it counts) IP: Logged |

I am noticing that Jupiter trine Uranus in two charts of people who seem to consistently be happy and keep a positive attitude. Great answers, very helpful.
