What aspects or placements would point to a moody person?

Are you personally moody?

What's your Moon's aspects/placement if you are moody?

I'm a Saggi moon, Moon trine Sun and parallel Uranus and I am extremely moody. Like ridiculously moody. One second I'm happy, the next I'm really upset and/or really angry. Then shortly after going on a rampage from being so angry ( sorry I'm an Aries Sun/Mars ), I get incredibly happy again. It's never been that much of a problem until recently.

Sounds like a transit to me. What's going on with your transits? Can you describe what is moody by your definition and what triggers it?

I stopped being moody when Uranus went into my 12th house in 2007. I totally chilled out. Very little bothers me. I still get upset but rarely. Sometimes i gotta fake being upset because the situation requires it. My heart doesnt experience appropriate negative reactions (like being offended) and emotional responses because I'm far too relaxed. This will end in 2018.

I'm wouldn't say I'm that erratic but I'm moody. I have Moon opposition Pluto, moon trine Uranus and Moon in Taurus among other aspects. Moon could also be in the 12th house if using Whole Signs which is a can of problems in itself. I get depressed for no reason only to realize other people are feeling the same way (but I'm not talented enough that I can be like "AHA, it's THEM")

I'm quite moody. My Moon is the 4th in Leo conjunct Mercury and my IC. It's also parallel and in MR with my Cancer Sun. I think the Mercury conjunction is the main reason I'm so up and down.

I've stopped checking my transits a while ago so I'm not sure whats going on in my chart at the moment. I'll post up my chart tomorrow if you'd like. My definition of moody is average I guess? I'm not what you mean. My kind of moody? Well it's basically on-n-off. I get happy then really upset as as soon as I start overthinking. I get really worked up over overthink thinking and stay arguing with people (usually my boyfriend) and say really horrible stuff, and soon after I'm happy again, apologizing for the whole tantrum.

I've never been this moody before and the only reason I've realized it's gotten so bad is because my boyfriend has brought to my attention that "everything" seems to **** me off. I get mad if he does a specific something, but other times I get mad if he doesn't do it. It all depends on my moods and how I'm feeling. It's driving him crazy not knowing what to do and what's right and what wrong, what I like and what I don't, because he virtually has no idea anymore.

Excuse any misspellings lol, I'm on my phone.

I have a Gemini ascendant, don't think it's that, though my mercury is afflicted.

Whenever I see a thread on "moodiness", I know that its only a matter of time before Cancer positions are mentioned. And I feel like I need to say this.

I once read that Aries and Cancer are actually quite similar:They both tend to "feel" things readily and then react. And both tend to be quite "macho" in their approach to things(the men). And I agree.

Aries is apt to respond to personal nuances and an inner chasm whilst Cancer is responsive to external influence and environmental conditions that are in conflict with them.

Cancers(especially Moon/Mars here) get a bad rep for being Moody. As a guy, I think most Cancer position shows where the guy may feel he needs to "butch it up" ;that is if he hasn't made peace with his strong feminine energy that calls for nurture, passivity and gentleness in response to others.

These are not "bad" things to cultivate, but in a macho world, they can be seen as undesirable traits in a man.

So, when a Cancer is offended;usually because of an unkind word, a rebuff or an insensitive gesture from someone they deemed "close" to them. They tend to feel the reactive feelings quite readily(without the objective distance).

Unlike Aries, Cancer positions do not respond much when insulted by a passing ship; a stranger or someone that they'll never see again. This is because there is no bond that links them.

But Aries responds to all who fire weapons; related to them or unrelated. Strangers and allies alike. This is the other difference.

So if they are continually exposed to the environment where the initial injury was;either from someone they moved in with, their boss, their colleague or spouse etc. they tend to be moody.

This is because the injury still feels so "raw". Its not easy for them to just overlook it until it is properly addressed.

If not, they'll remain moody and sullen; and this is actually a passive aggressive response because they feel it would be too painful for them to open up the lines of communications themselves. So they usually rely on the other person to "sense" and make it right.

I know, I know. Its not rational, but water energy rarely is.

In the place of the moodiness response, you could also include, spite, touchiness, rudeness, snappy remarks, silent treatment and general "detachment".

This is usually an indication that the Cancer position actually wants a heart to heart talk to address an issue that has become the pink elephant in the room.

Anyone who is sensitive to the environment, people, and language is going to be moody. Moody works differently in the elements --

Fire is moody they show it with aggression and temper tantrums, swearing, blowing a fuse, knocking things around

Air is moody they show it with smart a** remarks, satire, intellectual know it all, or get snappy, words are harsh and cold

Earth is moody they show it by being demanding, grouchy, possessive, and fanatical

Water is the most moody and can go from complete silent treatment to crying spells, it runs the gamut with this element.

I have a Saggie moon and I'm generally not. The fire can come out but probably all the Libra with a splash of Scorpio keeps it somewhat under control. Saggie tends to be "don't worry about spilled milk, the cat will come along and lap it up" anyway.

My cousin is VERY moody, in both the good and bad ways. And the things posted in this thread definitely reminded me of his chart which includes Aries sun & Mercury, Pisces Moon, Cancer Mars, Gemini Jupiter, and Leo Saturn.

I'm moody. Cancer rising and a heavily squared Taurus moon. Well, not heavily- it's squared by Neptune and Uranus and then Semi-squared by Saturn. My moon is in the 11th house.

I am probably the definition of moody (I also had to look it up, it's used so loosely nowadays, I almost forgot what it meant)..

I'm Taurus sun/Ascendant
Aries Mercury
Gemini moon
Cancer Mars

Moon in 1st, Mars in 4th, Sun/Mercury in 12th
Moon opposite Pluto (in Scorpio in 7th house)
Moon sextile Mars/Venus (Venus in Aries in 12th house)
Moon trine MC (in Capricorn)
Moon square Saturn (in Aquarius, 11th house)

While I am calm and steady, my emotions can usually be running rampant but you'd never know because I hide it. Unless I'm close with you and trust you.. Then, well, may God be with you. My friends closest to me always joke that I'm bipolar because they never know what they're going to get or what's going to come out of my mouth next. Hell, half the time I don't even know. I just react to things and then let ration come in later.

I am susceptible to random bouts of sadness for no apparent reason, which confuses myself just as well as those around me. It's quite complicated for people close to me because I feel emotions so intensely, so while it is a "flash in the pan", it's quite a high, bright flame.

Guilty. Cancer moon. I am too moody and sensitive. Kinda just exhausting on everyone around me I can imagine. Moon squares my mars and trine pluto. I just get my feelings hurt a lot. And even remembering something will put a dark cloud over me. I wish I didn't have to feel like this so much.
