They say people tend to find those with an Ascendant in the sign of their Venus visually attractive. What about an Ascendant conjunct the dispositor of the Venus? Or what if this planet is in the 1st house? Is the effect similar?------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Conjunctions sextiles and trines between Venus and ASC all work perfectly. DSC lord to ASC also. I'm not sure about Venus dispositer, but a Venus in first house without a conjunction will affect the ASC person; enforcing their self confidence and so.IP: Logged |

In my experience THE attraction happened when his Venus was conjunct my DSC tightly. He is the best for me in my eyes. He is very attracted to my appearance, compliments me all the time. IP: Logged |

Let's take me for example - Cancer Venus |Asc Cancer : I don't find Cancer-heavy men attractive. Women - yeah. Not just Asc, but Sun & Moon too. There's similar effect with the rest of the Cardinal signs. When it comes to Venus, this's more of exercise in aesthetics rather than physical attraction (Mars). Cancer Venus' disposition |Capricorn Moon : I like Capricorns, very. But I wouldn't attribute this to Moon, the dispositor, as such. When it comes to attractions pattern, my chart is in the Cardinal circuit, isn't easy to single out one culprit. But I think we need more of knowflakes to chime in on this. IP: Logged |

Libra Moons, yes. Men - always an agreeable company, there's something very gentle about them that puts me at ease. I don't even have to chat with them, the presence alone is enough, even though we end up debating something, as a rule (air signs,eh). They look gentle as well, Micheal Caine type. Women - I like this in artists, models. I can tell if a lady has Libra Moon... We look alike, the attitude etc. It's hard not to be under bias. ^ all relatively recent impressions, I've met quite a bunch of colourful people. IP: Logged |

Venus to someones Asc can enhance the attraction and help in you two getting on.I have A Gemini Sun friend who has his Venus conjunct my Asc and he liked me from the get go. I have Venus in Scorpio and so, I found his Asc in Capricorn a little chilly for me. So yes, it can happen. When it comes to physical attraction, however, I don't know if he did a double take. I had an ex who apparently saw me in a pic at a friend's place. He was immediately sexually attracted to me and sought me out. His Venus is in Virgo. So I think that it can be both physical as well as platonic. IP: Logged |

I think all planets falling in the 1st find the other attractive, physically and in terms of personal image, personality. After all, we are not just the ASC (physically and personality), but the entire 1st house, plus the ASC progresses throughout those signs. IP: Logged |

For example Moon in the 1st house can become very emotionally aroused in the presence of the 1st house person. IP: Logged |

I agree with you. Other planets also play a role in attraction. Mars on the Asc can be a very physical attraction too. I also had this with someone and he was physically stunning. He was the Mars in Taurus position attracted to my Asc. He thought I was stunning and I was like "No, you are." It was flattering though But what do you mean by saying that the Asc progresses through all those signs?? Huh? If you are referring to the Asc,I just did my progressed chart and it seems that I'll only get rid of my Gemini Asc in 2049. And even then, it'll only be on the cusp of Cancer(27 Degrees Gem to be exact). IP: Logged |

Agrrr! It's not about an overlay. It's about having the dispositor of another person Venus' on the ASC or in the 1st house. I wanna know if it can work like Aquarius Venus-Aquarius rising. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Mine already progressed to the third sign, I have an interception in 1st, but if you have 2 signs like most normal people do, not like me hehehehe, normally it progresses throughout the entire 1st house.

What you mean is: first person has Venus in Aquarius and his Uranus is on the ASC/1st house of the second person. Is that it? IP: Logged |

Same here. I don't fall in love easily and this placement of having his venus right on my descendant made me fall almost on first sight of him. Although after a few weeks of getting to know him I REALLY fell. Venus opposite ascendant in synastry is strong indeed. Alas no saturn contacts so it wasn't meant to last between us. cafeastrology says that if someone's venus trines your ascendant they find you visually appealing, but there have been lots of venus square asc synastries that have lasted. So I'm not sure how strong the trines or squares are in this instance. IP: Logged |

The OP gives the impression you are talking about an overlay. In this case, yeah, I guess someone with Venus in Aquarius is attracted to Uranian people/Uranian type of beauty, so an Uranus ASC/1st house could be attractive to him. But you still have to check the usual attraction links, in synastry, between the two, because it depends a lot on a the house/aspects of that Venus etc. and you need direct links between the two to know how attracted they are to each other. A Venus in Aquarius will not be attracted to ALL Uranus/ASC in the world, but the one/ones who push the buttons of his chart. IP: Logged |

I am pretty sure...my friend has this. I have Venus in Leo she is a double Leo. So yes there can be friendship. About visual attraction...maybe. But it's more about a spiritual feeling of friendship at least for us.

Venus in Sagittarius here. I've never found guys with their ascendant in Sagittarius attractive. Quite contrarily, I find them repulsive. They are simply annoying. Okay... maybe I feel like I have to compete for the limelight. I don't know. But I like guys with their Ascendant in Aries or Leo. My ex had a Leo Ascendant and my S.O. has an Aries Ascendant.Jupiter in Scorpio is my Venus' dispositor. Again, not Scorpio/Taurus Ascendant males but I do find Leo Ascendant males visually attractive. On an emotional level, it has to always be someone with a fixed stellium. Aquarius Ascendant: I tend to attract a lot of Aqua Sun/Moon/Venus folks. I'm not sure why but these are the people who don't otherwise open up infront of others but choose to open up with me...both men and women. They feel they can talk about anything under the sun with me. Dispositor is Uranus in Capricorn. I find corporatish dressing sense and sharp jawline attractive in men. IP: Logged |

I might be a bit off-topic, but what about the rising sign planet in the sign of someone else's Venus (conj)?Ex. Partner 1: Venus in Aquarius Partner 2: Aquarius rising, Uranus in Aquarius (conj Partner 1's Venus) Does that have the same effect as Venus conjunct ASC?
