My progressed Mars is about 2 degrees away from conjuncting my natal North Node and 1 degree away from conjuncting my progressed North Node. Both progressed and natal take place in the 7th house in Pisces.

Does anyone have any idea as to how this could be interpretted?

Mars will energize the Nodal sectors. In my own theory, the NN is a benefic/receptive point where "things" are given to us. Thus Martian types - men/Aries figures will be beneficial to you during this period. Or you alternatively will act more assertive in Nodal spheres.

In my personal theory the Nodes flip - nine years of NN, then nine years of SN. If you're in a NN phase; 0-9 (??), 18-27, 36-45 expect the nodal realms of life to be colored red.
