Why would someone have better experiences with a certain ASC than someone who has the Moon in the same sign? Like my experiences with Sag moons usually end unpleasantly, but Sag ASC are great to me and I have no trust issues with them.

I like sag ascendants better than sag placements.

7th house is also the house of open enemies so yeah not trusting sag energy comes along with it.

We both have Gem ascendants.
Have you ever been with a sag asc that closely conjuncts your dsc ?
everything is switched around..

it's trippy 0_0

It's like my first house stellium is in their 7th which subconsciously makes me less self-focused.
I think it can be nice to feel the opposite around another person, better for growth.

Yeah their ASC looks to be conjunct my DSC by 1 degree, but the synastry astro chart doesn't say anything about the DSC.

Super side note: my Aries stellium is trine their Saturm, but none of their personal planets aspect my Saturn. Does that mean I'll be unreliable to them, or that I will see them as reliable but that doesn't mean they are?

maybe they don't note angles because it's obvious?

The ASC is an angle isn't it.

You may connect better with people who VIEW and approach life with that energy, but you need something different in terms of emotional interactions, which friendships are usually based on.

Most of my friends have Sagittarian moons, so I know how you feel about that! LOL. They are full of laughs and free-thinking people. Love to chat! While I have Taurus moon, my asc is in Gem--and I have a stellium in late Sag with a Venus/Uranus conjunction also so I don't see their emotional reactions as jarring.

What is your moon in OP?

1. synastry
2. Different dynamics, expression of Asc and Moon; Asc - proactive, Moon - receptive;

Taurus moon too! And an Aries stellium! They are super funny and I love that, its just sooner or later they drift off never to be heard or seen from again and that's when I get butthurt because for me when I like something I can repeat it forever, and ever, and ever, and ever. It never ends. (Moon opp Pluto with Pluto in the 5th house ruled by Libra.)
